Well, he's made the Sherri now, so let the WWE's legal team, aka, "Task Team Nonce" sort it out. 👌 The Major Pod guys can continue slurping on Josh's chin. And that’s the bottom line, it’s a figure that is an in stock drop for a name that people have been clammering for! Good on Grapplers |

I don't know how legal it is, but he's at least paying the estate, which is what KWK wasn't doing initially. If he's causing an issue for the WWE, then that's between him and the WWE. I'm just happy to be seeing these figures getting made, even though Sherri isn't for me, a Jake Roberts definitely is. 👍 |

Can everyone please get back to talking about the figures? I'm living vicariously through you all buying these retros as I just don't have the room for another line. As interesting a topic as it is, the figures are much more interesting 👍 How about those Grapplers and Gimmicks, eh? Bulldog looks great. Diana is also a figure. here's another '92 Bulldog photo dump! Wow, seeing him next to the Beefcake... He is literally just 3d scanning the Hasbro's and making his molds off that? I think that is a worse offense than not checking with WWE before signing deals with trademark owners. |

You’ve missed the point. If epic was able to sign ddp at a time when he wasn’t under contract with wwe, Mitch could have done the same with Sherri. Unless you know for a fact when he signed Sherri… do you? He could have signed her 7 years ago for all we know… I’m purposely using a ridiculous number to illustrate the point. If you don’t know when Mitch signed her, you can’t, in good faith, accuse him of anything illegal. Sure….unless he didn’t start until 3 years ago and the legends contract has been valid from 2019 and is still active until next year with a clause to not have any action figures made outside of WWE Now you’re getting it. While it’s unlikely that it precedes the wwe deal, at best, you know when her legends deal began and ends. We don’t know anything about the estates deal with Mitch and it’s not fair to speculate. That’s his business. Mattel doesn’t disclose the details of wwe’s legends deals and it would be unreasonable to ask any other company to do so. If Mitch gets himself into any trouble because he did something illegal (which I don’t think he has) it would be his own fault and I doubt anyone else would be effected by that. |

And if 3D scanning something to get the base body is wrong, wouldn't Zombie recreating the Jeff Jarrett off of Hasbro's planned design be questionable too? |

All the hate for Diana...I actually want that figure! I would want it single carded, though. I have the original Hasbro Bulldog, so I don't need any of the G&Gs, but that Diana would be rad to own.
And to piggyback on an earlier convo...job guys. Gimme a Barry O all day. That would be cool to see.
And man, do I hope we get some early 90s WCW stuff. Yoshi Kwan, Shanghai Pierce & Tex Slazenger, American Males would be great too.

I will get him some day…but there is just too much coming out in between now and 2025 for me to justify purchasing that at this time. Seriously though, I love the setup. The only thing that stood out to me that I hadn’t really noticed before was the lack of a neck on Davey. Yes, he was juiced to the gills but standing next to Beefcake, it becomes more noticeable. On its own it wouldn’t stand out as much. |

It’s a possibility but I’m not sure when it would be worked into their current lineup/production schedule. Would love all of those though. |

But I give it a pass because the likeness is on point and the hair sculpt is incredible in-person. |

We need some more variety in terms of Hasbro style poses - a jumper or two wouldn’t go a miss. ahh I don't know about that. Admittedly jumpers aren't my favourite, but a jumper without the action feature seems like a waste of a sculpt. I'd hope one of these independent companies could revisit Ricky Steamboat and the Rockers I hated the jumpers as a kid but it’s part of the nostalgia, just think as a collection on the whole, we’re missing some differentials, a lot are very similar poses. |

Just seen an interview with Godfather on CVV and interestingly he said he owns papa Shango and Godfather even though he’s under a legends deal, WWE let the name ownerships lapse (he said they have done that with a lot of guys from his era) and he snapped them up - he can do what he likes and WWE don’t and haven’t ever messed with him when he wants to use it for stuff - I guess this leans into what he’s done with Mitch and maybe it’s the case for some of the others up for debate in here.

Adam Bomb did the same when his name lapsed too, it’s certainly a smart thing to do if they are still taking bookings etc… Majority of deals will be unique to the person, having a legends deal doesn’t mean that they can’t have figures made outside of WWE unless it is stated that way in the contract It’s why we get Micro Brawlers of guys on legends deals and stuff |
