I think I have to go with Mattel’s Queen Sherri… Excuse the ignorance, but what Mattel Sherri? One of the next 4-pack bundles has her, Liz, Zeus and Hogan (as Rip).   |

First time I’ve ever seen a date in. I’ve looked at figures already out, figures about to come out and never seem to get a date. I collect Mania 1 through 2002 and I display in attire date order so would be a really useful website for me if it was actually up to date, shame as it’s a great concept. I updated this FYI. Only Mattel and Jazwares should display the attire dates now. I don’t think I’ll ever get to Jakks or the other lines. |

I’m excited for the upcoming Bull Nakano from KWK. Shawn and I had a nice conversation the other day about maybe making her a little smaller. Fingers crossed as that is looking like possibly the best female Retro of all time. Chella might still hold that crown…but the size kind of disqualifies it. She looks way too tall. That being said the mattel female body is really tall as well so im not sure. As long as she looks good next to alundra id buy the second one One of the things Shawn and I discussed was what to base the scale off of. Naturally, I gravitate towards Hasbros. There are no female Hasbros so Retros is really the only standard there is. He shared a picture of Nakano next to Blayze and it looked more acceptable. My only counter to that is what about when you stand it next to Macho King or Razor. That to me is the real measuring stick so to speak. I’m okay if she is close to their size but not bigger. KWK has an amazing opportunity to knock it out of the park with that figure and I really hope they do! They are making a lot of positive changes and turning things around. It may not be the same as the Epic redemption story but he has come a long way. 2025 is looking to be a pretty good year for them! |

His female figures really are not good. I guess when he doesn't have a hasbro mold to copy from, there is a big drop in quality Yeah agree, to be fair though, I think females from other companies have been a little underwhelming too. I 100 hundred percent agree. I never thought I would be so unexcited to get a Mattel Hasbro style, Elizabeth and Sherri, but they also look terrible to me. I will probably buy them anyway just to support the line. If I don't like them enough, I'll give them away. |

Good news - I received shipping notifications for Sherri and Kurt Fuller!
Bad news - I received pics from an anonymous source who showed that Sherri is basically identical in size to Luna.
I’m feeling like Goldilocks over here. I just want female Retros that are slightly - SLIGHTLY smaller than the male Hasbro figures.

Yes, but look at how he put Sherri in front of Shawn. The angle makes it look larger because of distance. Flip them and it will look ridiculous. I was worried this would happen. For some reason people act like women are way smaller than men when in reality they aren't that much smaller. Just a few inches shorter, wider hips, and narrower shoulders. Mattel is the best women we have so far in the retro world and KWK look's to be our only shot at that changing. Luna, Nakano, and Chelsea Greene retros are terrible figures. I don't keep my figures moc, so this is a real bummer. I ordered both Sherri's so I'll update when I get it. |

Saw another pic on social media. I’m not heartbroken (pun somewhat intended) but it isn’t my preference for female figures.  So far Chella and KWK have gotten it right in terms of pose but only KWK has the chance to fix the scale of Bull and any future female figures. |

Please, do post any reference shots that you can. I have a bunch of stuff I’m about to drop in a few minutes from Mitch’s IG Live video last night. I don’t remember if I got pics of it but Queen Sherri paired nicely with Macho. Again…I want slightly bigger and more Hasbroesque poses but I definitely don’t hate them either. |

I thought he was referencing headdress tatanka as the one who'll likely get a repaint? Hopefully i was wrong because thats enough tatankas and ill probably end up with all 3. Plus i recall kwang in my head as mostly all black versus red so im good with the one shown

TheHasbook on IG asked about a Kwang with green paint around the mouth and Mitch implied there would be a variant. |

Looking through those prototype pics, mitch is still by far the closest to real hasbro figures out of all these retro companies.

The original prototypes I think were just straight up black paint. |
