Are heel Jake's tights not complete? Looks like they're missing a bit of detail.

All 4 Machos are looking great but I do kinda wish he would have saved the Mania 10 ones for later. I’m assuming they’ll be full releases and not “variants”

Can't post pics but I've got sherri still on card as I'm undecided on opening. Great looking figure but size is hit and miss. She feel a little too small in some ways but OK in others. Height seems right but maybe a little too slim build wise. Against hasbro macho and hbk in some poses seems a little too slim - ie body is about the same width as hbks arms. Went to the most extreme comparison and put her next to zst andre and mattel retro big john studd and it's way off! But against slick, tunney, hebner and habsro rude seems OK so undecided. I say keep up the facial likeness but thicken them up a bit?

Yeah, he's missing the snake's on the sides of the tights. The flames morph into the snake heads. Colors and number of flames seem wrong, too. 



 

Hard to say. I’m not sure of their real life heights but in the picture above, you have figures from Mattel, FC, and Chella to compare her to. If you were to remove her heels, she would be roughly the same height as everyone except Alundra. Keep in mind that Alundra is as tall or maybe taller than Yankem. It’s really all over the place. I’m wondering if Grapplers and Gimmicks Queen Sherri will be as tall as 1992 Sherri? Someone will need to post both.

Scale is impossible to please everyone when it comes to this form factor. Most of the big guys within the Hasbro line were undersized: Andre, Earthquake, Typhoon, Undertaker, Crush, and Bam Bam come to mind. Gonzalez and Yoko felt right. So naturally we are going to see things bounce around with a lot of these independent companies…and certainly there won’t be a standard shared between them.

This is something I was thinking about recently involving LJN’s as well. I have pushed for Latoonie to make his figures in scale with LJN figures but he wants to be different. His company, his decision. But I was looking at the 10 inch Andre that everyone has been dunking on and noticed that it looks pretty in scale with the LJN Hogan IF he were to stand up straight. I know that is ridiculous but it doesn’t seem as silly if you take notice of that. It doesn’t excuse the other figures and their size difference…it just applies to Andre.

When helping out with Crush from FC, people really seemed to want a taller figure. To their credit, they agreed and made the changes. I had sent reference photos of him standing next to Undertaker to really drive home the point. So that figure should be around the same height as Hasbro Taker. But if Taker were to put his legs together and stand up straight, he would be slightly taller than Crush (as he would be in real life).

Received my Kurt Fuller and 92 Sherri figure but didn’t have enough time to fully appreciate them! Sherri looks wonderful detailed but quite small. Not any smaller than photos have shown but it is absolutely noticeable on the card. Not complaining; just an observation. Kurt looks good…makes me impatient for the NHB set from Mattel!

The Sherri face really does look great -- but she does seem too skinny compared to the men to be realistic for any wrestlers.
