Maybe I’ll just post the conversation but I’m basically SOL. he said when he gets back home he’ll see if there’s any more and then i can send this back. Probably at my expensive? Yea I don’t think so. I’m not spending more money
He saying it was advertised this way. I should have contacted him before if I didn’t want a “chase.”
So word of caution from buying from there

I just opened my Max Moon and it’s an f’n test shot. I’m am not happy. Almost $90 and I don’t have the figure I wanted. Just sent him a message. Urgh I'll gladly trade you the figure for the one that you wanted. I will even pay for shipping both ways. You won't do this though because you are complaining even though you know the figure you won is worth far more than the one you expected. |

I have 2 Komet Kids of each variety, #033 and #042 of the blue and #033 and #036 of the yellow variant. All moc, Which one do you want? It's odd to complain about getting the test shot. #1 you could sell it for 2-4 times what you paid. #2 You could easily find someone like me to trade with on virtually any figure forum or group. #3 Shawn would probably do his best to make you happy. |

Is it noticeably different out of packaging than on the card? I'm just curious to know what it looks like. Seems like a bit of a questionable idea on his part. It’s just solid pieces of different color plastic. It’s terrible I'd be pretty annoyed myself, tbh. |

I knid of regret having passed on the Komet Kid color variant. The blue one is really a nice figure. Same mistake I made with Mantaur. Should finally learn to order both variants when ordering a figure. 😄

Yup i snagged the yellow after the fact. When i think of max moon i dont think of the entrance gear so i didnt want to put it on him to display. But i will on the yellow and itll fit nice on my japan retro shelf

I think the best way to handle this with future releases is to either put them up for sale at a higher price on the KWK website or to have people manually type in “YES” if they want to opt into the prototype lottery.
