I am watching old Prime Time Wrestling shows on the WWE Network each night and I am now into October so the hype for Survivor Series is huge. Now I knew that originally "Superstar" Billy Graham was going to be on Hulk Hogan's team and was replaced by "The Rock" Don Muraco, but what I didn't know was about the Randy Savage team.
When hyping the Team Savage vs. Team Honky match, they showed head shot photos of Savage, Beefcake, Duggan, Roberts and.... Junk Yard Dog?!
I just assumed that Steamboat was always going to be apart of that team, so it shocked me to see that JYD was originally set to be on that team.
Does anyone know why JYD got removed?? Or why Steamboat wasn't a first choice to be on that team to begin with??
I knew JYD got removed from the 1988 year and replaced by B. Brian Blair, who then left and was replaced by Scott Casey, but the 1987 one really shocked me!
