I have heard multiple times that Vince disliked tag team wrestling but I don't believe that
Look at the mid to late 80's, the tag division was amazing!
Plus he brought in The Road Warriors, Tully and Arn, Nasty Boys, Powers of Pain, Steiners...if he was so against it then why bring in those teams
Even Summerslam 89+91 had tag team main events and Survivor Series was a tag team ppv!
Do you think Vince always disliked tag team wrestling or do you think his mind changed on it?

I remember hearing something about this on Something to Wrestle many years ago. Bruce said that Vince liked tag teams, but did not like tag team wrestling becasue it had so much money in the ring at one time or something like that.

Eric Bischoff said the same thing about tag team wrestling.
It is just more money that they have to pay out because it's four men doing almost half the job that a one on one match would be in their minds.
Which is funny because I feel tag team wrestling is way more harder that a one on one match because there is an art form to it to make it come off really entertaining and well done.

Because he had to pay 4 guys for one match. Also "tag teams don't draw me money."

He became cold on Tag Teams because he had some of his worst experiences with talent via the tag division....he also became wary of the financial investments in teams as the business went on the turn. demolition were his most successful creation-ended sour with Ax. The Brought in POP to be the RWs and face heel Demolition but it was a busted flush because the guys were charisma vacuums. he brought in the Steiners to replace LOD as his top team but both sides quickly became distant on broken promises over $$ creative and schedules. Tully & Arn ended sour too.....

Sorry, feel like I’m bumping old dead issues here!
I remember hearing/reading something that Vince found it more difficult to market a tag team for merchandising etc than a singles wrestler, and that was why he lost interest in the tag team divisions.
