SummerSlam 2002... wow, just wow!! This PPV will forever be legendary.
Would you guys say that this is the best PPV ever produced? In the history of wrestling or sports entertainment?
I'd say its either the best or easily one of the best ever... its gotta be top 2 and its 1000% gonna always be a top 5/10 for me, no matter what.
Tbh its not easy to make the GOAT list in terms of PPVs but man this one was special... Rock vs Brock, HHH vs HBK, RVD vs Benoit, Edge vs Eddie, Flair vs Jericho, Taker vs Test, Christian/Storm vs Booker T/Goldust, Angle vs Rey... what a star studded lineup.

When looking back at 2002, it was such a great year for wrestling in the WWE. It felt like a completely new era of that organization so how fitting it went from WWF to WWE, and how fitting it went from Attitude Era to Ruthless Aggression Era.

wasnt the greatest by any stertch imo, bit VERY good tho
2002 was the last year i really got into wrestling
the rumble match is one of the best imo

Good to hear that, nowadays a lot of good things are happening. I'd say that the PPVs are always great every month these days. 2002 was just a special year from top to bottom. |
