Did Mankind and Vader have more tag team matches after wrestlemania 13? I don’t remember what happened to them

The Mankind/Vader team seemed so odd and random too then. It was like, "Crap, we have no tag team to face Bulldog and Owen at Wrestlemania, so let's put Mankind and Vader together."

It was weird to me seeing these 2 team up considering the feud they had in WCW just 4 yrs earlier

It was weird to me seeing these 2 team up considering the feud they had in WCW just 4 yrs earlier I know what u mean but wwe loves teaming up recent rivals. Look at jakes team that planned for survivor series 91 - teaming jake with earthquake who "killed" Damien a few months before! |

I think it was in Mick's first book where he talks about this and the idea was that they would eventually split and start a feud.

I've said it before on here, but I always thought the Vader/Mankind team, could have been a way to delve into the whole Faces of Foley concept. I love how they debuted Cactus Jack against Triple H, but I always thought the other way could have been with the team. You could have had the team on a decent run, maybe giving them a run with the titles, and eventually falling out between them, with Vader just destroying Mankind. He comes back talking about Vader hurting him, and how what he did to Mankind brought a long forgotten name, that Vader liked to hurt; Cactus Jack, and the WCW feud could have restarted in the WWF.

I doubt Vince thought anyone even knew of the Vader/Cactus feud in WCW. I doubt even Vince himself knew of it.
The fact they actually acknowledged the history between Pillman and Austin during that time frame in the WWF was something!

Oh, I knew that Vince would never acknowledge WCW history between wrestlers, especially at the time, which is why that was all just fantasy booking. |
