Bray Wyatt or Batista (depending on availability) Paul Heyman Brian Pillman Nasty Boys Cyndi Lauper This feels like a pretty friggin safe lineup. They're gonna wanna put Bray in quickly, much like they did Eddie. I'm pretty sure they've wanted Batista for awhile now and, with him out of the Marvel universe, he might just have the chance now. If Heyman doesn't go in it's because he doesn't want to yet. He's more than proven he deserves there, and they would certainly be glad to have him, the question is if he will accept the spot while he's still active. Probably a lot of it would depend on if they are intending on Roman dropping the belt at Mania this year or not. If Roman drops the belt, I can see Heyman accepting the award and then stepping away. If Roman isn't losing and (what's left of) the bloodline is still getting dragged on, Heyman will probably wait another year. Brian Pillman seems like a lock now with his son in the company. Nasty Boys, I'm not sure on, there are other tag teams that could go in, obviously. But they're as good a choice as any. (Hilarious thought I just had that I'm grinning over. They try to put The Quebecers in the HOF for whatever unknown reason and someone suggests that KO induct them... THAT would be must see TV.) And Cyndi Lauper? Honestly, they're running out of HOF worthy celebs, so, yeah. She's probably up next. And as for Women? They've just about run out of Women's Legends at this point. Mickie James or Victoria are about the only two I can think of off the top of my head who might fit, unless they pull a Bella Twins and go with someone recent like AJ Lee. |

Philly makes Paul Heyman so obvious.
I'd love to see them put in Sabu, Tommy Dreamer or Sandman. Sandman is probably the biggest stretch in that bunch but Sabu was a true innovator of his time, and Dreamer did a lot for WWE in his long tenure on top of his ECW accomplishments.
I'd say to go ahead and induct Bray now. Don't wait.
Brian Pillman is a great choice, especially with his son in NXT now.
Nasty Boys and Lauper are great choices, like chaz said.
Just knowing how Batista is, I think he sort of removed himself from WWE when the Vince drama began. Now that Triple H is more the face of the company, I could see him coming back anytime to take his HOF spot.

Odds jumped way up with this video they released... It's finally happening!! Long overdue and well deserved. I know WWE would probably rather honor someone the caliber of Machine Gun Kelly, but these legends deserve their moment in the sun while they are still alive. The posthumous inductions of guys like Savage and Vader just don't have the same kind of impact they should. You want to see them at the podium telling some stories and receiving that ovation from the crowd for their career contributions to the industry. |
