Let's settle this. Some feel that the Elite 105 and 103 Scott and Rick Steiner are sufficient. What say you?

Sufficient? We're barely touching the surface imo, especially when Rick Steiner's body mold looks nothing like the guy and Scotty's attire is from much later and somewhat forgettable look. I want white singlet Scotty with molded biker trunks, short Austin boots and all red superstar designs. As for Rick, I'd like to get another version of his '98/99 look in red with wider torso, sculpted biker trunks. We also need black biker trunks Scotty too, which is arguably his most iconic look. There's so much to work with and so many attires to choose from. I'll just say that Mattel needs to pump them out and not give us the mediocre attires before either one does something or say something that might jeopardize their figures.

Not sure what "pre 92 Rick" is....but I went with WM 9 Steiners, biker shorts (chase so we get black & white) Scotty and Varsity club Rick.

I missed the "pre 92 Scott" so thats what threw me off. Essentially Rick with more of a "fro" and Scotty with party in the back mullet. |

WCW late 00 - early 2001 Scott for me. Specifically Greed 2001 if we're being picky. That's been a top 5 want for me since the line started. I will buy every version of him, and they definitely need to make Mania 9 Steiners asap, but his 00/01 run is one of my favorite stretches for any wrestler ever.

I think the reason why the MDT intentionally chose these two looks for Rick's and Scott's debut figures is because they knew that they were wouldn't be the most sought after attire choices, but because of the fact that the Steiners have been on the want lists of collectors for so long, any figures of theirs would have been hot sellers regardless of what attires they were in. Hence they could afford to release them in some of their less memorable looks as they would still sell well simply by virtue of them being First Time in the Line figures, then once they drop their more iconic looks (Steiner Bros and WCW world champion/nWo for Scotty), those ones would still sell like hotcakes regardless because those would the Steiners that most fans would be after |
