Am I worried? No. Is it a bit strange? Yeah maybe, but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
As others have said the Nitro crowdfund not getting backed and Rick's negative press might have played into it but we just don't know.
Rest assured with two big names like Rick and Scott, Steve and the team are working behind the scenes to make things happen.

I'm not surprised that the Ultimates Tag Team wasn't the Steiners. Ultimates seem to be reserved for tippy-top Legends and modern guys who are heavily featured.
The Steiners haven't been a thing for a very long time, longer than many fans have been alive. They don't pop up for anniversary shows like the Outsiders (did), Angle or DX. Looking at things through a WWE Canon lens, the Steiners are out of sight, out of mind. It is what it is.
That said, I would love a decent set of Elites with cloth jackets (Legends series?).

If we don't get them tommorrow then I think we can forget about it. My budday said that The Outsider Ultimates would sell better at retail and The Steiners would be a good fit for Ringside but I would take elites or even basics at this point.

Best I can tell it’s
A) Mattel has them lined up and will reveal soon (hopefully WM9 UE)
B) Mattel/WWE lost the ability to make them (I feel they would mention this)
C) Mattel is playing the long game (this hasn’t gone well in the past)
I keep getting my hopes up for them. At this point, they are the ones I would be most excited about Mattel announcing. The Outsiders are cool (and the best thing they’ve announced in some time for my money), but this year they appear to have lost both Macho and Flair. Add them to all the other Legends they don’t have, it’s becoming limited at best. Fingers crossed we get them tomorrow!

I'm happy with what we got so far. Didn't even think we'd get this far. But we definitely need a few of their tag team looks. And a few more single runs of Scott.

My assumption/guess has always been that they planned on a huge Steiner Bros reveal at the last SDCC but then the Rick controversy happened a few months before that and they hit pause. The WCW one that came out was too far along imo so we still got it. We'll probably get 'em once they feel enough time has passed

I didn’t expect to see them yesterday. I would guess if they are being shown it would be the big reveal on day two with Bill and Steve not day one. And personally I want my WMIX as Elites to match my Headshrinkers not as UE, because I hate the drop down hips on UE’s. So I have hope we see them tonight.
