IDK what people didn’t like. Seemed like it had a little something for everyone.
Modern collectors are getting a UE Cody. UE Asuka shown off which looks amazing. Elites of Cody, Logan, Dom, Dom’s girlfriend, that tag team of the androgynous guys, Undertaker with his braided ponytail and his new hat with bandana combo.
Classic collectors are getting that X-Pac we’ve been wanting in elite form and an updated USA Luger. 3 faces of Foley packaging looks amazing. The UE tag team may not be the Steiners we were hoping for but let’s not pretend that Outsiders haven’t been on towards the top of most our lists for a long time and these look great.

What I wanted to see
-90s Steiner Brothers, Elites or Ultimates
-Hogan 3 pack final pieces
-Imperium Elites
-FTITL Pre New Generation Legends
What I wasnt expecting to see but looked nice
-Ultimate Outsiders
-Rhea in white
I saw none of what I wanted/hoped to see and not enough "surprises" to offset it...Id give it a C- if we're doing a letter grade.

They have shown less this time but what ever they have shown is amazing... Red Nash Ultimate check.... Updated weight belt... Check... New Cody ultimate check.... Instead of repeats without any updates I appreciate their effort that the team is updating stuff and parts of certain characters. I will Give them B

They could have shown nothing else but that Luger and I’d still give it a solid B. That figure is top notch and I can’t wait to convert it to an Ultimate Edition body.

I'll go with a B. I usually go into these reveals with low expectations, so that helps.
I'm slowing down my collecting, so really only FTITL figures for me. Maybe a few updates here and there.
My must gets from these reveals:
LA Knight
Pretty Deadly
The Outsiders
Bayley
Shinsuke Nakamura
Grayson Waller
Cora Jade
I would have loved to see Elites of Imperium and more NXT talent, but I'm sure they're coming eventually.

The fact we've seen actual figures of Rick and Scott singles but NO renders, pics, or even announcements of a Steiner Bros tag set -- from a company that has a track record of missing the boat with other legends before their contracts expire/cancelled -- to me warrants an F for this particular show.
My grade will change once I get the Steiner Bros in-hand.
Other first-time legends could've raised the score a little, but those were missing as well.
EDIT: I don't mind seeing improvements to already released characters like The Outsiders and USA Lex. It's nice to have the choice to upgrade or stick with what you got. But c'mon. That should be your complimentary news, not your headline.

Seems like they didnt really have a RSF planned this year but they still put something together for you guys.
It wasnt the best or most exciting event but it was still cool to see the outsiders u.es

I honestly didn't see anything I needed. It was nice to see the 3 Faces of Foley packaging since I've had that on preorder since comic con, and the Rhea and Bayley figures looked solid but don't fit my collection so I'll probably pass. I can see why other people were happy but I was really disappointed.

Grade A for effort so cool for Ringside to do this every year its great to get to see new figs and hear from guys involved such as Bill and Steve.
C grade for what was shown or lack there of. Guess Mania 40 Axxess will be where we see any real new items.

Honestly don't like the way Ringside Fest is done nowadays!
I'm ok with a limited amount of reveals. There will always be more! But I remember the Ringside Fest coverage from back in the days, when the Fest was an actual fest!
This was just a online conference. Mick Foley felt a little out of place, specifically after saying that he doesn't know the outcome of Crown Jewel. Also Dom and Rhea gave the impression that they were the choses ones to just sit down somewhere to do this!
Overall just don't enjoy this way of doing it!
Looking forward to WM Axxess. That will be better again!

I was confused about the Chase Paul Bearer - Tom kept going on about how it was the older version of Percy Pringle that everyone has been wanting/hoping for over Paul Bearer.
Isn't the chase Paul Bearer from Attitude era or is it supposed to be Percy?
Also, while some people might want Percy - he will always be Paul Bearer. I've never really seen a push for a Percy figure while I've been on here so I was def confused and Bill/Steve didn't say anything (about it not being Percy and being AE Paul).

I would grade this at like a low B or so. I always enjoy seeing the new stuff and sneak peaks, and even though many things weren't ready to show, I enjoyed what I did see. That Outsiders set is cool, the Dude Love improvement and full box reveal, that UE Cody being everything I've been waiting for (I'm holding off for that one), Asuka's sick robe, etc. It definitely felt like this was a less major show, but I appreciate seeing the Mattel team talk about their process and upcoming stuff. What I'm most excited about is what is to come with tag teams. The Dudleys, The Headbangers, The Steiners...we're very likely getting those guys, and that is going to be an awesome set of reveals at the next big event (if they don't leak out first).

As someone who actually enjoys current product figures, this was a B-Minus.
Not because of the lack of current talent, but because some of the figures I was really looking forward to are just... meh. Some of these headsculpts are getting HORRIBLE. Pretty Deadly are going to be epic but I'm not feeling those heads. I'd love a Giovanni Vinci figure for Imperium, but that... ain't Giovanni Vinci. Rhea looks great, but why is she in white? It's a great attire, but she's not gonna look right at ALL with the rest of The Judgement Day. (And the one we have of her for that is just... not good.) I'm up for more Seths, but considering half the point of Seth's gimmick right now is him wearing the wildest attires possible, how the HEY do they keep choosing boring ones for his figures???
There are some high points. More NXT women will always make me happy. That Bronson Reed, if done well, is gonna POP on my shelf and will make me more than satisfied that I skipped his first one. Bayley is Bayley is Bayley is NEEDED... even though she's about three weeks TOPS away from being Edge'd out of the faction that attire represents. Priest looks great, can't wait, although it is taking forever to finish the set.
Oh, and Ultimate Asuka is probably the sexiest figure I've ever seen in my LIFE. I need her IMMEDIATELY.
All that said though, for legends-only collectors, this was an abysmal showing. Probably one of the worst showings ever for legends. The only real highlight is the continuation of the Ultimate 2-Packs with the Outsiders.
But yeah, for me? B-Minus.
For Legends collectors? D at the most, and that's only because of the Outsiders.

Enjoyed seeing Mick Foley and Rhea, especially Foley's stories about preferring WCW Cactus Jack and his wife making the shirt, etc.
Planning to get 3 Faces of Foley, SS Luger, Outsiders, and maybe pickup the girls on sale.
