I’m hearing a fair amount of complaining on the Q&A toward Steve on the black card chase additions. I get it for those of you who want to be completists, but realistically, this may be the best way to keep this line going longer. I feel like something had to shift to give this line some more collector interest and “move the needle.” Wouldn’t you rather miss out on alternative cardbacks than miss out entirely on future potential figures? Think I'm in the minority with this one, I plan on buying every set and while im sure there are some sets id like to have on black card I don't see myself needing both versions of each set. I want both versions of the Hart Foundation but even that's not a need. I hope it does keep the line going though, there's too many figures still on the table |

Here are my top ten figures: (some pairs make sense and some are arbitrary) Magnificent Muraco & Jimmy Snuka Ricky Steamboat & Randy Savage Paul Orndorff & Bobby Heenan Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine Tito Santana & Bob Orton Jr. Snuka’s never going to happen. Savage hasn’t been available, but hopefully that will change soon. Don’t think Santana is an option any more either. But I’d certainly buy all of these and more! |

My best guesses for the next set based on who we know is available are andre/studd, warrior/honky tonk, valentine/beefcake, sheik/volkoff (if he's still available) mattel could always throw a curveball like they did with the piper/steele pairing and put 2 guys together that doesn't make sense so maybe dibiase/boss man? Lol

Lol All very realistic sets. But don’t forget, this is the year of Hogan. Wouldn’t surprise me if our next set is yellow-trunks Hogan with Iron Sheik. Not my top choice, but alas, I’d still get it. |

If I was choosing, it would be Bam Bam/Boss Man and Andre/Studd. I feel like a red and yellow Hogan is inevitable, so maybe throw him in with a tougher sell like Orndorff or Orton.
Throwing realism out the window, I would go for Demolition, Hillbilly Jim (molded overalls)/Bundy, and Duggan/Volkoff. Maybe even JYD/Tito just to get both out.
If they’re doing “almost LJNs” and they’re under contract, an Ultimate Edition Bushwhackers set would make me very happy.
If we ever get Steamboat, I hope they do him in the red/black prototype trunks for a little more color.

Okay, I know someone HAD to have asked before but I’m going to now, why the HELL didn’t they put Hart Foundation in their Heel ‘86-‘88 attires like the original LJNs were? Outside of the odd legends figure this is the only line I collect. I have been wondering that myself. The head scans on Bret are garbage and the attires are off. I wish they were in the red pants like the original LJN poster. Easy pass today. I’m hoping for something good next wave. |

Otherwise theres not a ton of guys i would be interested in in their ljn attires. Tbh i would prefer sheik in red trunks
It would be cool if they continued the line with guys from the ljn era that never had a figure or guys with new attires because some of the old ljn looks kind of sucked

I just wish this was a set they would have stuck with the script for LJN era look, which was Jimmy Hart’s Hart Foundation. Same. I really wish these would have been their 1986/87 look, black tank top with not heart design, pink tights with one black line down the legs. Closer to the LJN figures. I'm still looking to pick them up because I like the Coliseum Collection line, and they do fit in 1988/89 which was still withing the LJN line. But I wish they wouldn't have done a mashup. Could have easily done the heel 1986/87 look for the Coliseum Collection line (attire mentioned above and in pics below) with the silver tag team titles they wore and the plain leather jackets they sometimes wore at that time. Then release a second set in the RSC exclusive tag team line in their 1990/91 look with the Sgt. Pepper jackets and gold tag team titles. But it is what it is.    |

Instead of molding the shorts/jorts on the figure, just give him a removable cloth version and paint the red of blue or purple trunks on the figure underneath.
