My set was delivered yesterday, got the blue standard card. Easily the best Anvil figure ever made. The bret sculpts look way better in person, the smiling sculpt is really good. The other 2 sculpts I have are pretty much identical. Not sure if they are supposed to look the same or if I got an error with 2 of the same heads.

Make sure to complain that they didn’t arrive on their originally scheduled delivery date.  Oh if it was Amazon with my McFarlane figures I would. They delayed my Hush Batman every week since the original delivery date of 8/18/23 until it finally was delivered two or three weeks ago. lol Brutal delay! |

The sad thing was I found it locally a week before the original date, but kept the order for my MIB figure. But then I found the MIB one in October but decided to keep the order to see how long it took before they shipped it or they canceled it. lol |

Got my 2 Foundations in the mail yesterday. 1 of the Anvil figs came with a Hitman arm. Throws the look off the whole fig. Mattel creations says I have to send back the whole order, get refunded and then re order. Seems like a hassle Like others said this is one of the top if not best anvil figs of all time. Bret sculpts are better in person (depending on if you get a good paint app) These will be going in my 1990 era display. While these figs are great, they don’t feel/look like 85-87 era. Still hoping we can get those figs at some point. Bret had some cool color boots back then blue, gold, silver, and I think red too. The elite 92 glasses look pretty cool on this fig  |

Really good idea. I do like these but the paint looks very flat. Was expecting a bit more detail. I guess mainly for the sunglasses and hair. Not a big deal just surprised considering it costs 35$. Just noticed his closed fisted right hand was colored in at the gap. |

My Hart Foundation figs are tracking to come tomorrow!
So, I’m guessing/hoping the next wave is going to be announced at the Mattel Creations event Friday! Who are we thinking it will be? I’m still guessing (blue trunks) Andre and Studd, or Warrior and HTM as next most likely. Savage would be a great surprise though, paired with Steamboat (if he’s still available) or with M$M could be a good option too. I’d be up for Dream Team, Sheik/Volkoff, Bigelow, and honestly any LJN homages, but I think Andre/Studd or Warrior/HTM are most likely.

Another thing with Bret figs.. why do they make him so small? Too skinny and too short.
@nomoreexclusives I usually display my favorite eras. Currently have WWF 85-87, WWF 93-94, WWF 1996 (bca), WCW 92-94, a small survivor series 90 & small wcw 1997 display

Just got my set and it looked good upon opening (even Bret looks decent with the glasses) then I noticed Bret’s wrist tape was totally smudged like it was pulled from the line too fast. Tried throwing a coat of white paint on but the first layer is still noticeable and I’m not trying to ship this thing back :/ .

I really hope the design team knocks it out of the park on WM weekend otherwise I might have to be very selective with what I buy going forward. |

I ordered mine almost a week ago and still no shipping notice. Hopefully your order ships soon. I ordered at noon on the release date and shipping status has been "label created" for days. I purchased a Piper/Steele set as well so maybe that slowed it down. Kind of surprised since the last Jurassic Park set arrived within a few short days after I ordered it from Mattel Creations. |

Got my Hart Foundation set, blue, very happy with it. Bret coming packaged with shades on looks just right and closer to his LJN. I was able to open, get the LJN style tag belts on them (though it doesn’t quite fit Anvil), and repackage them for MOC display. Looks great!

Yeah after I just saw the new Summerslam elites in the other thread, I’m pretty disappointed with Mattel as of late. It’s sucking the fun out of collecting for me. I’m trying to hit all the angles with it like “oh wrong part choice? I’ll just part swap it.” But then I break the torso while trying to do it and there goes a good figure. The point is, I shouldn’t have to do that, you know? |
