So M$M (I assume) anchoring the next wave opens up more possibilities. This should mean that HTM and Sheik also count as “anchors,” along with the remaining Andre and Warrior we still need. I could be missing other potential “anchors”/strong sellers too. Bam Bam? Beefcake? Definitely more realistic sets than I’d initially anticipated still coming! I think Big Boss Man as an Ultimate would be a very strong anchor. |

Some posts are saying the next set is out "This Spring" Are they doing more than 2 a year now? I wish/hope that’s the case, but in the stream, I believe Steve says it’s coming this Fall. It’s been asked enough on multiple threads, that hopefully Steve can clarify. Maybe Mattel is still waiting to see how Hart Foundation sells first though? |

So as I look at my building Coliseum Collection, an interesting thought came up. Sgt Slaughter fits right in, has very close packaging, but isn’t actually part of the collection. That is almost exactly like his Hasbro- LJN style figure, generally fitting right in, but not technically part of the collection. I doubt it was planned to work out that way, but it ends up pretty cool.

What are these attires based on? I remember this photo:  He also wore the all-black attire during his 1985/86 feud with Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji. He was wearing the black gear when they hanged him:  Ohh ok. I knew I remembered the Dibiase attire, but couldn’t remember when and where he wore it. The Steamboat attire I really couldn’t ever remember seeing him in all black. |

I was honestly worrying we’d be getting another Hogan in this set, given this is his anniversary year. While I wouldn’t mind his traditional look in this line eventually, I’m certainly in no hurry for it and would much rather fill out the roster first. Steamboat and M$M are a pleasant surprise for sure!

That would literally be the only figure I’d be disappointed with unless it was paired with another figure I really wanted. I can’t imagine a red & yellow CC Hogan could be any different from the UE 13 one. |

I really don't see these sets having really an anchor per say over the other except maybe Hogan/Funk and Piper/Steel sets because it's Hogan and Piper. They've been top heavy sets. I see the Rude/Jake and M$M/Steamboat sets as pretty even. I think Mattel wants to push the Upper/Upper mid card guys for these to ensure the sets sell.
I think like when the ultimate edition line launched, CC still needs to prove it can last until Mattel is comfortable to put more guys from lower down the card in the line.
