The pattern lately has been to reveal the Fall set around Mania and the following Spring set at SDCC. So unless they (please?!) increase sets per year, I wouldn’t expect to see the next set previewed until SDCC. Yeah sounds about right. I have noticed patterns with other lines as well. As long as we get quality figures the wait is worth it. I do agree, but this is my favorite Mattel line, so I really wish we could get them more often. Plus I’m holding out hope that they could transition into an LJN form factor line (Big Rubber Guys compliment) once this line is complete. -Not that I want this line to end prematurely. Give us all you can first! |

Now that The Bushwhackers are officially back with figure deals, what do you all think? Would they make for a good set in this line? I think if this was their first figs back in the line since the Legends 2 Pack from years ago, it would have been a bigger deal. But with the Doink- Survivor Series figs coming soon, I’m not sure how sought after these would be. I’d want them, for sure. And they meet the “rules,” as they would have been in the lost final wave.
They seem hesitant to get into managers/non-wrestlers. By my count, they’re getting pretty limited for remaining wrestlers available:
Definitely available: Andre, Warrior, Honky Tonk Man, Studd, Bigelow, Bossman, Valentine, Beefcake, Iron Sheik, Race, Bob Orton, Davey Boy Smith, Warlord (surprisingly), Hogan (yellow trunks)
Possibly Available: Volkoff, Muraco, Hillbilly Jim.
I could be missing some, this is off the top of my head.

Steve said at one point that the lost/almost wave was eligible for this collection. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they reserved that flexibility for the possibility of Demolition or Powers of Pain if they became available down the line. |

Mattel ended up cancelling my CC order a month after it's not arrived and shipping didn't move from the US after a month. Awful experience yet again from them.

Always been a stand-up dude & a close friend for well over 10 years. One of the coolest guys on this board. ^-^ 4 real, the help and the good this board brings is amazing. I want to give to the community where I can. As I was telling Apocalypse in another chat, my intent with the Coliseum Collection chases is this: If ever I get a Coliseum Collection chase, I will be more than happy to post full, high-res pics of any of the variant cardings, whether it's the figure back, the promo divider card, or the accessory box front. It will then be extremely easy to print your own, on some high-quality paper, without having to pay stupid money for the chase or hope for that rare random draw in shipment. All I personally care about is the promo divider card. I enjoy shooting pics with the figs in front of the proper promo background, that was prevalent in the mid 80s to early 90s. The fact this is only available with the Coliseum Collection chases kills me. I want that promo card, but I don't wanna pay $350 for it, not especially if the figures in said chase are still the same as the normal. That's my take on it. I get my CC4 Hart Foundation in a couple days. Let's see what fate hands me. |
