If history predicts future, Mania weekend should be when the next CC set after Hart Foundation is revealed. Who do we think it will be? If Savage really is back, a Savage/Steamboat, Savage/HTM, or even Savage/ M$M set would be great. But if Savage isn’t back, I’m guessing it will be classic Andre/Studd. What do you all think?

You're probably right but as i stated before i believe their biggest problem is the pricepoint. Some people just want one of the 2. They should sell them seperate but leave the boxpack for the diehards who like to display the boxes as well. Either way at 30 bucks a piece i believe they'll move more volume. Yeah we may get another round of discounts this year to get rid of them. The bogof sale was killer last time around. Next time we may get BOG2F! |

Another potential surprise set that could actually happen is The Bushwhackers. They were meant to be in the lost- final LJN wave, which Steve has said he’s open to including in this collection, and they have reportedly recently signed WWE Legends deals (Cardona even said as much for why they can’t be included in Big Rubber Guys). I’m not sure Mattel has enough faith in them to carry a set without an “anchor,” but why sign them to legends/toys deals without having confidence, right? I don’t love their matches, looking back now, but was definitely a fan as a kid and would be on board with this set as something different.

I think it’s gonna be Andre/Warrior anything legends related this year seems to be centered around Hogan and the 40th anniversary of Hulkamania. Legends 21 was all hogan, rivals and manager. 22 has hogan and Capt Lou when he was doing the rock and wrestling thing. I guess legends 23 and 24 are gonna have hogan in them too. I don’t think it’s gonna be Savage if he’s back they’re gonna just release the ultimate of him and probably have it up to order on night one seems how they were already produced and about to ship. It wouldn’t shock me if the set after this upcoming one though is Savage/Steamboat. But yeah I think we’re gonna get an ultimate version of Ultimate warrior from Wrestlemania 5 and gonna get long haired blue trunk Andre what they do for accessories I don’t know maybe warrior has a couple face molds one with face paint worn off. Andre maybe has the leather cowboy vest..

Considering his last Elite in package consistently sells for $100+, I bet a bunch of others would buy it too. A local shop got one in the box some time last year was asking $175. I'm already planning on buying every set they put out for the Coliseum Collection but that would be above and beyond a must have for me |

I think they’re going to break those rules sooner rather than later unless they start getting some missing anchor talents under contract. I’m buying every set regardless of who’s in it, but people who are picking and choosing are likely going to stop after the next 2-3 waves unless they get more big LJN names signed. |
