Not a fan of this incarnation. Then again, anything 1999 WCW still gives me a bad taste in the mouth. Unreal how quickly that company bottomed out from end of 1998 when things were still pretty solid. Looked like Randy finally dipped into his ICOPRO stock when he came back. YA GOTTA WANT IT!!

He DEFINITELY wanted it. One of the more startling physical transformations considering how he looked when he went on the shelf in 1998. Count me in as a devoted Savage fan who just didn't care for the "What Up, Mach" era. This may sound harsh, but he was always cool simply because he was the damn "Macho Man" and this makeover just felt like an old guy trying to be cool in the late 90s.

His inclusion in the Wolfpac smacked of that too. He was clearly not what that faction was intended for...

As over as the Wolfpac was in 1998 - and they were OVER - guys like Luger/Savage/Sting just did not fit at all. And this is coming from huge fans of all of them.
