Nothing tops losing the Nitro stage.

The Nitro stage is going to sting for a while. Macho being unavailable at the moment sucks especially when that Ultimate was so close to release. I hope it's just a matter of tine before we get more Savages since there's still a ton more I'd like to see.

Wouldn't attack you over it because I know it wasn't for everyone, but as someone who collects lots of action figures, the Ali figs are awesome whether they fit with my wrestling figures or not. They can stand on a different shelf.

I get what you're saying about the SDCC exclusive side of it. It wasn't what I expected or even what I would have asked for (and then I bought two anyway).

I want to add:

Mattel Creations being rubbish, especially for international customers. It's bad enough with the ridiculous "fees included" pricing (probably THE main reason the Nitro Stage wasn't funded) - but add in the poor/non-existent packaging and it's really difficult to justify buying stuff from there. Which is a great pity, as again, it will end up hurting everyone in the long run (ie. lack of "support" for Retro and Coliseum Collection figures etc.)

Probably for the same reason that they put War Games Usos in the same Elite set, and regular, black Bloodline Usos as a 2-Pack.


If the UE Sami and Kevin are in fact both WM39, well, people got a bit p*ssy when Mattel released the Elite Bloodline Usos in 2 entirely different series. That frustrated people, as did many other times when matched sets of figures got broken up.

Truth is that Sami and Kevin's contracts are both coming up next year and while it's assumed they're signing new ones, they could potentially want to get these figures out as soon as possible, and as a matched set so that there isn't a chance of getting one and not the other. Sort of like how the reason we didn't get the Steiner Brothers as a tag team yet was because of contract issues meaning they wanted to rush figures out of them ASAP, but also didn't want to risk an incomplete set. (Another thing people get really really mad about).

If the Sami and Kevin ultimates AREN'T a matched set, then yeah. That argument goes out the window. If the Sami ultimate is Honorary Uce and the Kevin is Prizefighter, then there ISN'T a reason that they aren't separate, especially because their contracts are up at different times next year.

But if the point of releasing them both in the same set is because they are a MATCHED set, then it makes far more sense to release them together than risk making one and not the other.

Because again.
Doing that makes far more people angry than simply not making enough legends.
