Yes he wore the jacket and hat, but not the tights.

They made up Savage's Slim Jim tights because they didn't want them to be the same as his Elite 38 figure(which would have been accurate). I think it was a stupid decision.

The figure really does need a top!

Whatever it is, I think it will suck. They haven't knocked out a sdcc out the park yet Taker: was OK but nothing really special Shockmaster: fantastic figure Superstars doll 4 pack: wasn’t for me but seems like people really wanted it. Was Mattel’s first SDCC sell out Slim Jim: walk off out of the park grand slam Mr T: The mashup was a weird choice considering they didn’t really nail one specific look Slaughter: another out of the park from presentation to execution of figure No Holds Barred: almost perfect execution Ali: great presentation but lacked the excitement of the more recent figs Ok so slimjim macho and nhb set was pretty good. But I wouldn't call them knock out the park. Another hogan, macho and a zeus we got released again. I want something that screams we aren't gonna be getting this again so we gotta have it. Other companies are making some 1 off figs. Why can't mattel?

i forgot what attire the slim jim macho man had so i googled it. yea, the fact it isn't an accurate attire wouldn't have bothered me at all if i had the figure. it looks like something he would have worn, good enough for me

Snoop Dogg from Wrestlemania 39? They advertised his drink on RAW all the time. Also with that Wrekkin Low Rider and the Ultimate Rey Mysterio, you could recreate that scene fully. I don't think I would get it though

I was hoping that they would have gave us the exact same package this year with mike tyson that they did with ali
On one side, Mike tyson with black jeans and 2 t shirts. D-X and Austin 3:16
The otherside, Mike Tyson with black shorts, black boots and black boxing gloves
I mostly just want mike to square off against Ali

The Shield legs would probably work (or they could do a 2-in-1 with removable pants). And then they could do him in a suit from the first face off with Austin in the Legends line or as a MNW BAF.

Let's get real here. The time is almost upon us! What realistically could the Mattel SDCC Exclusive figure be this year, 2024?
Keep in mind that whatever the SDCC Exclusive is would have needed to be conceptualized at least 1 year ago, in order to get everything produced, packaged, & shipped in time for "The Con of Cons" in July....
POSSIBLE:
Mike Tyson DX/3:16 - we haven't heard that he's under contract but anything's possible. But do they do boxers two years in a row? I think it's doubtful....
Hulk Hogan Pastamania - we've heard rumors that they wanted to do this for a little while. It's also the 40th Anniversary of Hulkamania, so I feel that this COULD be a Hogan product. Hulk still moves merch in 2024, brother. Other Hogan candidates: Hall of Fame Hogan (sleeveless tux), WCW Champion Hogan (re-tooled Gold Belt), Piledriver The Album Hogan. We can also hope for a "Hulk Still Rules" Ultimate Hulkster, brother.
Steiner Brothers Ultimates - well we know from No Holds Barred and Muhammed Ali that they CAN do two Ultimates as the SDCC exclusive; But are the Steiners "mainstream" enough for this slot? For collectors this would be HUGE.... and it would also explain why they've been so tight-lipped on where our 90's Steiners are.
Paul Leveque Ultimate - well, we're in the "Paul Leveque Era" and there seems to be a huge love for Triple H right now.... but eh, with the WWE leadership turmoil over the last year, maybe there's no way Mattel could have predicted that Hunter would still be in power when they conceptualized this a year ago?
Cody Rhodes Ultimate - well, they HAD to know that Cody would "finish his story" this year..... but they've already released some Cody Ultimates? But knowing that post-Mania would be all-about-Cody they might have decided to do a Cody figure for SDCC....
The Rock - eh, not sure how long The Rock has been officially "back" with WWE..... could they have squeezed out a "Final Boss" Rock for this? WITH his "People's Championship" belt? They definitely could have known that belt was coming and tooled it in advance....
Cyndi Lauper - this is a long-shot, but they just released FTIL Captain Lou Albano.... and Last year's SDCC was a "non-Wrestler".... but we would have heard something if WWE had signed Cyndi Lauper to some sort of Legends deal, right?
John Cena - maybe, but what Ultimate would they do? I'd say Cena is a longshot....
IMPOSSIBLE:
CM Punk - yeah I think they WOULD.... but they wouldn't have had enough time to have a CM Punk figure ready in time for July.
Sting - As much as we all want it, nope. Not happening. Not yet, too soon. He's still with AEW.
Macho Man Randy Savage - I'm thinking IF Macho Man has been Reinstated, there still wouldn't have been enough time to produce a figure for July's "Con of Cons".
Ric Flair - he's still fooling around with AEW. I've been secretly hoping for some sort of "Starrcade" set with Harley Race & Ric Flair, but with Harley just recently being in the Territories set - I think that ship has sailed.
Vince McMahon Ultimate - damn I wish they'd done this before there was "No Chance In Hell" that it will ever be made.
Snoop Doggy Dog - I'm gonna go out there on a limb and say Mattel won't touch Snoop due to all the 4:20 tie-ins associated with him.
Jesse "The Body" Ventura - unless Ventura's bluffing and he's been signed for a while already, I don't think there would have been time to get this done in time for July 2024.
Am I missing any "SERIOUS" possibilities?

Starting to think it will be Bad Bunny. I hope im wrong. Seems like someone they will save for a rainy day when they can't get Cyndi Lauper or Jesse Ventura just yet.
If they do have Mike Tyson, would prefer him to be suited, from the RAW after Royal Rumble 1998. The packaging could be different newspaper clipping collages of the altercation with Stone Cold.

It doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility but I feel like that would have been more likely when he was still appearing regularly.

Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up but Lauper just went on Kimmel and talked about her stint with the WWF. It's the 40th anniversary of mania, she brought it up on television, it's basically the only figure from that mania build we don't have, and we just got Albano, I think it's seemingly increasingly likely the exclusive will be Cindy Lauper

Am I missing any "SERIOUS" possibilities? Serious possibilities: Captain Lou: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun video but without Cyndi it’s unlikely. Mario is also a possibility. Mattel works with Nintendo with Hot Wheels, Barbie, Uno and other games so not completely out of the question. Hogan: Maybe Pastamania. Thunderlips or a Thunderlips inspired Hogan. Maybe Rip in street clothes. Rock: Mattel and Hasbro’s partnership could potentially allow them to make GI Joe inspired figs or use their logos. So maybe Rock as Roadblock. Fanny pack Rock also may be silly enough to generate crossover buzz in the toy community. Piper: again GI Joe being a possibility with their partnership we could potentially get Iron Grenadiers Hot Rod. Bad Bunny: not sure what his contract status is but I believe he at one time had a figure in the works

There’s almost no chance I buy whatever it is but I’m excited to find out what it is.
