Dug out some episodes today(forgot I had these in my collection) and man very interesting. Similar to Livewire but that show became a recap show pretty quick not long into the run with them abandoning the guest format by early 97.
Was watching the 2-28-03 episode and they had Rock on there talking about putting over Booker T in the battle royal for the Mania title shot and teasing the feud with Goldberg that would come a month later. Inside terms being thrown out there like heel, push etc Very blurred lines with kayfabe and reality as when they have Droz come on during the beginning of the show he keeps it kayfabe by giving his thoughts on storylines but man when they get the real guests on there its like they have free reign to say what they want.Makes the show very interesting.
Plus the call ins from fans are always entertaining with some of the dumb questions they ask lol but yeah I'm digging this. Havent see this show in forever. Got a few yrs worth in my collection so looking forward to go through em

That was Confidential. Another show during this era that was enjoyable. Didnt last long though only from 02-04 Gene was the perfect host for it I might add.

Yeah it was a .com show that started in 2001 after Livewire ended and last until 2006 IIRC. Hosts right now during the time period I'm on is Kevin Kelly and Tom Prichard They're in a studio with the talent talking to em via phone

I wish more of these were available. Imagine if the original Cornette shoot rant on WCW from 1997 got released. I know it would be very similar to the one he cut on TV but still quite the gem.

Highly doubt this and Livewire(those initial few months anyway) ever see the light of day but like I said both very interesting for their respective eras
Here's a clip of Vince on it from prior to WM X8

Used to love Byte This as a kid. I remember the Stone Cold episode not long before he walked out - a very telling sign of what was to come. IIRC, he was a call-in guest and not actually there in-person.

So Byte This was an internet show on WWE.com
it was known in 2005 for having Matt Hardy call in and talk crap to Lita, calling her "Amy" and calling Edge "Adam"
The other interesting Byte This episode was in 2005 I believe as well during the ECW One Night Stand era. Dreamer and Heyman were the host/guest on it, and the letters "XPW" even came up because they talked about other promotions that tried to replicate ECW but failed to get the popularity that ECW had.

don't recall this really never forget when Paul Heyman called in and spoke to Vince Livewire was an interesting concept especially for that era of the company as they were still in New Gen phase so seeing stuff like Vince talk about being the owner,JR talking about the Hall/Nash stuff, Cornette and his comments etc it really made for must see TV Shame they cut the guests and just went to the typical recap format like Superstars got during the same time frame

Vince gets a idea about something, gets behind it 100% then a few months later it's a new project and the other idea gets forgotten

I also watched the 2-21-03 episode and Kane was a guest via phone and he was pretty himself and not the character.Shouting out Dr. Tom in a nod to the SMW days was a nice touch
This will be a fun ride I can tell. I also like how its only about an hour and a half.

Great show. I think Austin was on there in 02 right after WM18.
