They should just use Rock one situation at a time, really the way they have been. It's actually still frustrating to me they did Rock vs Cena at Mania 29. I think if that goes well, we might not even be having this match now. And I do think this match is going to need a little Rock vs Hogan X8 crowd magic. If this is it, I hope it goes great and Rock gets his flowers in the form of 60-70k people giving him a standing ovation. I will say, this is the first time I've felt Reigns is in a place where he's worthy of the Rock match. Beating Cody did that for him imo. That was the natural moment to move the belt off him and he kept it. So now he's got this mythical booking that not even the Rock can conquer. If ever there was a time to let Reigns win clean, no interference at all, Solo stops Jimmy in this scenario since it's for the Chiefdom, it's against Rock. So I hope that's the case and then they dump all that energy into Cody beating Reigns and finishing the story. Because in my mind, that's how you use Rock's stardom to benefit the next year of television, if not beyond. My exact thoughts. If you wanna give Cody the biggest rub you can, you use The Rock to elevate Roman and Cody all at once. You have Roman beat Rock at Elimination Chamber. Then you have Cody beat Roman. 100% should be the way it goes down.

Yeah, I think it should be his last match. I don't really have a desire to see him work with anybody else at this point. It most likely will be.

Happy medium: do interference at EC, rematch at Mania. Problem solved.

Huge fan of The Rock. But for longevity sake and thinking long term, it has to be Cody at Mania. I just don’t see how they can bring The Rock into this.

I love the fact that the Smackdown crowd was chanting Cody and not Rocky Friday night when the Bloodline attacked everyone in the main event.
It's almost like the paying fans wanna see the top babyface who appears weekly to be the hero and take down Roman. Funny how tried and true babyface wrestling still works in 2024.

So what you’re saying is, it still works today? Not just back in grandma and grandpas day? Amazing! It's always gonna work. No matter if real or manufactured, good vs evil is always the story. Since the dawn of time. Does that do the trick for every single person? No. Does it for most people? Yes. Would Thanos vs the Avengers be near as compelling if instead of heroes fighting a big bad trying to wipe out half the population, they just fought because it'd be fun to watch? Of course not.

If the Rock is working Wrestlemania is should be against the top heel in the company.
And Dom should go over.

To be fair, that Smackdown crowd was terrible so not indicative of anything wider I’d have said. If it continues then yeah, fair game.

Roman is close to breaking Hogan's record might as well let him break it then lose it at 41.

I still feel with this being the 40th Anniversary of Hulkamania that Hulk has got to show up for Wrestlemania. It would be awesome if Hulk Hogan transfers the power of Hulkamania to Cody Rhodes during Wrestlemania allowing Cody to Hulk up and beat Roman.

I definitely agree that Rock/Roman SHOULD happen at Elimination Chamber...but I fear it won't.

If WWE decided to go wild and have Roman break Bruno’s record, holding the strap until 2028, what do you think they’d do with Cody? Would “The Story” just no longer be something he’d talk about? I know he’s already said winning the World Heavyweight Title wouldn’t be enough to finish his story.
