If WWE decided to go wild and have Roman break Bruno’s record, holding the strap until 2028, what do you think they’d do with Cody? Would “The Story” just no longer be something he’d talk about? I know he’s already said winning the World Heavyweight Title wouldn’t be enough to finish his story. I don’t think Roman will be wrestling into 2028. But if they did that, it would be a terrible move.

have Rock help Cody win at Mania and hold off on Rock vs Roman until SummerSlam

They should just use Rock one situation at a time, really the way they have been. It's actually still frustrating to me they did Rock vs Cena at Mania 29. I think if that goes well, we might not even be having this match now. And I do think this match is going to need a little Rock vs Hogan X8 crowd magic. If this is it, I hope it goes great and Rock gets his flowers in the form of 60-70k people giving him a standing ovation. I will say, this is the first time I've felt Reigns is in a place where he's worthy of the Rock match. Beating Cody did that for him imo. That was the natural moment to move the belt off him and he kept it. So now he's got this mythical booking that not even the Rock can conquer. If ever there was a time to let Reigns win clean, no interference at all, Solo stops Jimmy in this scenario since it's for the Chiefdom, it's against Rock. So I hope that's the case and then they dump all that energy into Cody beating Reigns and finishing the story. Because in my mind, that's how you use Rock's stardom to benefit the next year of television, if not beyond. Spot on

Had Punk retained, Undertaker would’ve gotten someone else and we would’ve gotten Punk/Cena like we should’ve.
There was no reason for the rematch of “Once in a Lifetime”. If they wanted Dwayne to pass the torch… he should’ve done it in Miami the year prior.

LAMO at anyone. Who thought Rock’s potential retirement match.where it will be in the middle of the night for their core American audience. Any who get ready for Paul Heyman talking to his phone for an other year.

Was one of the requests made by Australian government for the show to take place. So I'd maybe have him interact with Cody there too somehow.

Cody beats Roman.

I still don’t understand how Cody can even face Roman again considering he lost that match where if he did he couldn’t challenge Roman for the title lol

While all true, I’m happy it turned out how it did as Punk/Undertaker is in my Mania top 10 and led us to where we are now.

I could’ve sworn that it happened to Cody too, hence why there was never a second match I could be wrong though and am just thinking of Lesnar
