Pretty much have quit buying retros or superstars and haven't bought a two pack for years. Just don't have the space to buy stuff I'm not really into anymore, I rather leave them on the shelf for a kid or somebody that actually will display them and get excited over it instead of me just picking them up incase I want them later

All basics I could care less about

I’ve been out on basics for years.
I’m close(ish) to being out on elites, but I’m not there yet, as the Legends line keeps dragging me back in. I’m extremely selective on elites, Nd the LWO was the first Mattel Creations Crowd fund/Made to order/exclusive I haven’t purchased.
I’m a UE completist for the moment, but that may change as we get more and the cost increases, and the reissues make it less fun for me.

Completely out on basics (and I have been for years at this point).
I'm only buying legends elites and Ultimates as well.
Quit on retros when they went to online exclusive outside of the first four pack.
The only elites besides legends I'm collecting at this point are anyone before 2000 with the occasional current talent that I really like, but that's few and far between.

Basics are kinda sweet now. Having more hands than fist/c-grip and swappable hands/heads.

I only collected Elites only. Lately I've seen a few Ultimaes in hand and I have to say they are getting better with the shoulder swivels and body molds being used. I thought earlier torso mold had too much of a gap between them. Mattel seems to have gotten better with that though.
