Interested to see if anyone else is giving up collecting certain lines to focus on others.
I’ve given up Legends and mainline Ultimates to concentrate on carded figures - Superstars, Coliseum and Retros. I’m really hoping for Hasbro themed Coliseum sets soon.

I only collect attitude era and before with some very few RA exceptions so there aren’t any lines I would personally exclude. I have zero nostalgia for Hasbro figs so the retros aren’t for me but I wouldn’t rule out grabbing an Andre if they make him and he’s cheap on RSC individually like others have been. Only line im pretty much all in on is Superstars. Legends kinda too cuz they’re hard to pass up on when they get marked down to around $10 or less.

I used to go outta my way getting a pair of PPV Elites MOC, even when they went up to four per series. That went sideways a couple years ago when one of the SvS waves struggled to find a retail home and I missed out on my MOC-worthy options. Rocky times hit and I missed a few waves. Now it's harder for me to determine which pair is cool enough to collect, and with the BAF added to it, it's too much for me to justify pursuing.
Can't remember the last time I purchased a Battlepack. Two basics for the price of two budget unbendies, no thanks. Perhaps the new articulation will persuade me eventually.

I barely buy anything anymore..so if something gets made that I want then it doesn’t matter what line. I never collected basics or retros/superstars so I’ll never buy those anyways. I don’t prefer ultimates over elites so it doesn’t matter which line there

I pretty much only do ~1985-2001 era Ultimate Editions these days, and I'm not even a completionist on that. Pretty selective on who I buy from those eras. My bank account loves it, but it definitely makes it harder to get excited at the big showings knowing I won't see a lot of stuff I'll be interested in.

Only Ultimate Editions for me - I was in from day 1 but the introduction of US store exclusives was always going to make that difficult.
I managed with the Target exclusives as the more recent ones came to Amazon UK, but once Walmart got their hands on an Ultimate Edition exclusive line then I gave-up.
Retros are the only line I'm 100% on now.

Superstars, being in the UK means availability is very limited and the prices I can’t justify anymore. Tapped out (never say never) just after Taker, Shango and Mankind etc. Real shame as I was so excited for them.

I haven't bought basics in years, and never started with Superstars.

This feels just like me but a narrower window: 1989 to 1999. But I do have a few outside that window.

Golden era only for me, Ultimates and Elites. Coliseum Collection is my top Mattel line and only one I’m all-in on.

I'm buying all Ultimate Editions, some Legends and just the Flashback/Legend Elites.
I was all-in on the Retros - but with all these other companies making them, the change in the packaging - and them being Mattel Creations (spit!) exclusives - I'll probably stop now.

Iv given up on superstars due to hilarious distribution problems
Elites because there is only one legend every now and then.
Ultimate edition main line. They are becoming harder to get and poor choices like kong chest Guerrero and bianca belair have kinda killed it for me . Also bobby lashley. Also rereleasing anything that turns out popular.

I haven't actually given up anything completely yet but I've come very close to abandoning the Championship Showdown figures. I don't know how, but somehow they always seem to be worse basics than the actual basics. I think the last figure from that line I have that I've displayed is Corporate Mankind. I bought the recent Kevin Owens one but that was just for the head, which I had to repaint anyway due to crappy paint apps.

I can’t give up the ones I never collected (Basics, Superstars), but the main Elite line is done for me now.
Other than when they throw in figures like Paul Bearer, I’ve long since hit the point where I don’t even know who 90% of the WWE/NXT roster is, and the ones I do know, I’m pretty tired of.
It’s Legends only for me now, and pretty much exclusively pre-Attitude era, unless it’s someone I tend to collect like Hogan, Savage, Foley, Bret, Warrior, HBK, or Piper.
I’ve even given up on the main Ultimate Edition line due to lack of Legends, but I do intend to grab that Asuka figure.

Main Line Elites are kind of a joke to me, now..... because where can you get them?
Walmart only stocks every 2nd or 3rd set (if they stock them at all).... most times, 1 case and when it's gone, it's gone.
Target - usually the same, or on a shipper/endcap that is picked out pretty quickly and not replenished. But I can't say that Target has each Elite set stocked regularly. If they do stock a set - it's gone within a day or two. I never found Elite 100 or whatever set had Mr. America at any retail store.
I don't think they've been available regularly on Amazon for a while now. Hit or miss...
And even Ringside is currently sold out of most of the recent sets.... we always used to be able to count on Ringside to get these.
I do like when they randomly show up at Ollie's Bargain Outlet, but you can't count on that.... it doesn't happen that often.
So where can you buy these things? I've almost stopped even looking ahead to see what sets are coming, because I know the chances of finding them are slim to none.....
I frequent these stores pretty regularly and I have not seen at least 5 of the last 10 Main line Elite sets at any retail store.
As far as the main line Elites go - I've adopted a mind-set of "if I see it, I'll buy it, but I'm not driving myself crazy to find them." That's where I'm at right now with Paul Bearer, and I haven't seen it yet....

Main Line Elites are kind of a joke to me, now..... because where can you get them? I have over a dozen Walmarts and 3 Targets within an hour's radius of me. The only Elites I have seen within the last year or so have been Top Picks, E92 Scarlet and Bianca, and the E103 Street Profits. I used to check very regularly, but less and less so. If it hadn't been for a good friend who knew I was looking for the standard version of Paul Bearer and just happened to be there when they were putting them out, I would have never found it in a million years. I stopped by that same Walmart about 2 hours later when I got off work and every single figure from that set was gone.
