We got a single version after Strike Force Tito Santana. Not sure why we never got an IC title run Tito Blue and Red Trucks (on Variant) Blue Ariba Shirt or Puffy Blue and silver Jacket. And not to mention a Green IC Belt... Think he would be still under some kind of contract. Does anyone agree on this, we should and must have a short haired early 80s Tito we will never get another Snuka, but Tito is well over due.

Well his Hall of Fame figure (white trunks red cloth shirt) seemed to shelf-warm forever.... so I'd understand Mattel being a little hesitant to release another (older) version....
However I feel like El Matador should be a no-brainer. And they should have the molds pretty much already made from Los Matadores (Primo & Epico)..... El Matador would make a very toyetic addition to the Legends line, I would think!

Big want of mine in blue trunks. I don’t remember him in a blue or red truck though.

That was explained he was already a two per case figure and then when the Hogan issues happened they replace Hogan with the next figure in their assortment list which was the Tito figure. So he had his spot and Hogan’s spot.

I don't need another trunks version, but I'd buy an El Matador in a heartbeat. Very "toyetic" as they say.

Not sure how accurate that is considering there’s a BRG Magnum coming. If this is true, it makes me wonder if the Powertown contracts don’t last for a long time. It could also be a case like some other lines (TMNT, Star Wars, etc.) where one company has the exclusive rights to do action figures in a certain scale or style, but another company can do them in a similar but different category. Like how Funko’s Star Wars Pops have to be bobbleheads because Hasbro already has the exclusive rights to 3.75” action figures. Maybe Powertown can do articulated figures, but BRG is free to make larger rubber statues?

Tito Santanas HOF figure was Mattel’s biggest shelfwarmer of all time.

I’ve always liked Tito and think he would fit in well in the Coliseum Collection. But I also think his WWE figure deal expired, and they’re likely in no hurry to get it back after the HOF figure debacle (a fig I personally like and still proudly display, btw).

Definitely would like another version of Tito. El Matador and pre strike force runs.

Tito Santanas HOF figure was Mattel’s biggest shelfwarmer of all time. Not because of the talent. It’s cuz he was double packed when they were forced to remove Hogan and Target refused to clearance him out.
