I wanted that Tito, but those eyebrows scared me off. So if they ever re-released him in a "greatest Hits' wave with Fx and double elbows, I'd probably pounce.

As a kid with LJN’s, Tito was one of my favorites. The cool thing about having those figures back then is you unknowingly became Vince McMahon and wrote your own endings. I give credit where it’s due and Hogan will always be a wrestling hero but he was not the champ in my wrestling world of LJN figures. Tito held the title. Sometimes it was Ricky or JYD but mostly Tito.
If he gets resigned, he becomes an immediate addition to the Coliseum line. New face scan. Short hair. Blue trunks and black boots.

Sometimes it was Ricky or JYD but mostly Tito. If he gets resigned, he becomes an immediate addition to the Coliseum line. New face scan. Short hair. Blue trunks and black boots. Arriba! Tito did well in my fig fed too, and Hogan was rarely (if ever) my champ. Jake, Studd, Beefcake, and later figs like Bret, Warlord, Bigelow and Warrior were my usual top guys. |

I still wish the first one would have been true Strike Force with the jacket or at least the Strike Force shirt. I totally get wanting the IC-era 80s or El Matador, and those should be first, but If Tito and Martel are ever back in the Legends fold, I would love a legit Strike Force.

I couldn't agree more. All you need to do is watch his Hall of Fame speech from 2004 to appreciate what kind of man he is. Tito had a fantastic career, and he got out before he became crippled, burned out, or fell to the vices of drugs or alcohol (not saying he did those). To top it off, he had a whole other career as a gym teacher, then Spanish teacher in New Jersey for about 30 years. Class act, all the way! |

so they can only be signed to one toy company ? if so that bad news for Mattel fans on other figs also  It depends. Some of the bigger stars: Hogan, Flair, Macho, Andre, Bret, etc., seem to be allowed to sign with anyone. Apparently Bret figs are exclusive to WWE so don’t expect any retros from other companies |

I don’t know if Martel is ever going to re-sign, but a colosseum collection Strike Force set would be great. I know there’s no animosity, I just don’t think Martel cares enough at this point. More likely if Tito re-signs CC will be with Valentine I’m guessing.
Edit: but who really knows? Piper and Steele were an odd pairing. It depends on who they have access to at the time. Valentine could be paired with Beefcake and Tito with Volkoff or someone like that for all we know.

My LJN Tito pulled a great Wrestlemania main event for the world title out of Ted Arcidi, although my Ted Arcidi could work. My LJN Tito pulled a great Wrestlemania main event for the world title out of Ted Arcidi, although my Ted Arcidi could work. I was so excited when I found Tito at Hills and it wasn't that crappy Tito figure that had been on the back of the packages 100%! I wanted his figure regardless but as soon as I saw his LJN looked waaaaaaaay cooler in person than did the advertisement, he got the championship push. He had to beat King Kong Bundy to get it and that wasn’t easy but Tito was able to power through! 😀 |

He was a 2per case figure and then he replaced Hogan in the set so his figures were then at least doubled everyone else in the set. But in my opinion he was the best figure in that assessment. |
