Hey guys,
I bought a PS2 memory card with NCAA rosters and a few draft classes.
What I noticed right away is that the draft classes were not accurate. For example, JaMarcus Russell and Ted Ginn were not in the current draft class, but Brian Brohm was.
Is there a way to manually create a draft class to import into Madden, without having to simulate a season and allow the players to 'choose' if they want to go to the NFL?

Hmm... well, my best suggestion would be to try www.operationsports.com and their madden section, and search "draft classes". some people have ways of getting accurate ones, and you might be able to find some in there hopefully. You gotta sign up for the forums, but that shouldn't take too long. Hope it helps.

FK Rosters has some good ones for free too, but unless you need them for 360 you gotta mail him your memory card.

the reason that guys like Ginn and Russell weren't in the class, but someone like Brian Brohm was... is because EA's NCAA game ultimately decides what any given draft class will look like. the 3 players above are juniors, but if the season you simmed to obtain that draft class unfolded with Brohm throwing for 4,000 yards and winning the Heisman, he's gonna enter the draft class and there's nothing you can do about that(unless you user-control Louisville and beg him to come back). conversely, if Russell or Ginn get injured or have sub par seasons in the sim, they're going to stay in school for their senior years.
it is essentially impossible to get a 100% accurate draft class via converting NCAA to Madden. computer coaches can redshirt players, players can get hurt, players can transfer, players can leave early after a big year... and there's very little you can do to control it.

Yeah, I understood why the players were coming/going, I was just wondering if I could change it. Apparently not... That sucks. . You should be able to go in and edit the class before you import it.
