I don't know if discussion of Funko Pops isn't allowed or if everyone on here just hates them (like I do) but I wanted to say this much.
My friend who does collect Funkos told me that the upcoming Sami Zayn Funko is listed as a US Exclusive.
A Sami Zayn Funko. That cannot be bought in Canada.
And all I can think of is that this feels like a very special type of insult to collectors and fans. Like, call me crazy, but it seems a bit weird to me that they would release a piece of wrestling merchandise that the wrestler's literal family would have to import from secondary to buy.
Am I crazy for thinking this? Like, I know the exclusives bullcrap has gotten waaaaaaay out of hand over the years, but this is just a new and creative low to sink to in my opinion.
Thoughts?

On page 2 is this thread. BTW, the Funko site reads: Exclusives sold within the U.S. maybe available in other territories with select partners.

The Funko threads up here tend to be dead because the WWE Pops und up getting discussed in the big Pop thread in the non-wrestling toys forum.
Re: Sami, generally the U.S. Funko Shop exclusives end up having international distribution through other partners or etc. so I would expect that to happen in this case. Also wouldn’t surprise me if it was on WWE Shop at some point too

There’s a general Funko thread in the Other Figures, Toys and Collectibles section that gets most of the discussion for WWE Funkos.
Most exclusive funkos have ways to be purchased in other countries. The difference being that they typically have a different sticker on the box than they do for it actually being bought from the retailer selling it.
Keeping an eye on WWEShop could be an option too. In recent years they have been selling the exclusive funkos themselves as well.

Also these guys usually get sent a bunch of their own figures, so if anyone in his family is worried about getting one he should be able to hook them up.

Ok, I didn't see the other thread. I looked for it but I couldn't find it.
That said, I'm going by what my friend in Germany told me. According to her, WWE merchandise is extremely hard to come by in her country overall. She said she was looking for a long time on the Eurp-shops for the blue duct tape Sami Zayn shirt and the only way she ended up finding one was to go to every single stop on the Germany tour last year hunting the merchandise tables. She found it at the last show. There is a WWE-Euro shop site but according to her, it's extremely limited and there aren't a ton of other options for merchandise elsewhere short of going on local secondary sites.
Really, a lot of the stuff she tells me about WWE in Germany makes me sad. As much as they will put on entire legs worth of tours there from time to time, the WWE doesn't appear to care much about their fans outside of the US, Canada, and the UK.
