Hello, my elite 98 Farooq has the tights mold for legs. What I mean is it is wrinkly like tights not smooth like normal legs. Is this a factory error or was there a running change to correct it. Thank you for any help.

Not an error or running change. Just a very poor parts decision by Mattel.

Legends Bobby Heenan has this too 😞 It’s been going on since the Elite Series (2 or 3?) Ted DiBiase Jr. He was the first Elite to suffer from this. |

I wonder if they were going for a "fatter" look for Faarooq Asad? Those tights legs they generally use for pudgier guys like Heenan and Lawler.
If you look at his early WWE appearances, Ron Simmons was frigging huge. Carrying a lot of extra weight. He didn't trim down and get ripped until he was in the APA, sitting around and drinking beers with Bradshaw (which is pretty much the opposite of how fitness works... I wish that worked for me!)

He didn't trim down and get ripped until he was in the APA, sitting around and drinking beers with Bradshaw (which is pretty much the opposite of how fitness works... I wish that worked for me!) That makes sense. Today I tried to do what I assumed was a simple swap on the weasel Heenan. Boy was I wrong. I did not realise that his legs were not easy to swap. I did not destroy my Heenan persay, but I gouged his tights by accident. I will get a replacement probably. I got an Ellsworth at my local 2nd hand store to do the swap, I was so annoyed when I moved his knee pads and found he had legs tats. Ugh... oh well. Oh if anyone wonders, the Heenan has this rubber spheres that go over the ball of the hip joint to make them regular size. I did not know what I was dealing with, so I had to try to remove the hips the best I could. It was a mess. Do not think I did not try to just remove the thighs from the hips and replace them. I did and of course they were a different size... I will get a new Heenan and try again. |

For what it is worth, I got a new Farooq Asad from ebay with non wrikley legs. They must have fixed ot at some point.

I just pulled out my Farooq to check and yeah. There was a running change. I got mine really late in the game from Ringside and it has the smooth legs
