The legendary & iconic Stinger finally joined WWE in 2014 & last wrestled in 2015. He went into the HOF in 2016 & left in 2019 to join AEW... his final match is also happening in March.
Now, what if he joined earlier? I remember the rumours lasting years & years & years ffs but he never came down... it would have been amazing tho.
Whether it was the early 90s, early/mid 2000s, or early 2010s... I would have loved it. I remember thinking he was coming in around those years. The amount of dream matches,feuds,moments would have been special.
Would you guys have wanted this?

Him showing up in the Attitude Era would've been electric. To see him face Austin, Rock, Taker and HHH, etc.

Sting being the one to get off the chopper on the Intrepid and bodyslam Yoko instead of Luger was the way I would have wanted to see him. Vince was sniffing around him too in late 92 after he had to can Warrior & Bulldog. Big Ted got him locked down and the term "Sting Money" was coined.
Unlike many I have zero interest in seeing Crow Sting jumping for the Attitude Era or Invasion. ZERO.
The only other booking I would have liked for Sting is as follows.
Invasion Angle is a LOT better and runs until WM18 where winner takes all. Vince & the WWF triumph when Austin(who had never turned heel in July) defeats Jericho for the Undisputed title(which Jericho had unified in December beating Rock after the turned heel at Invasion & defeated Austin @ SSlam for the WWF title)
Vince comes out to celebrate the night after on Raw & the nWo debuts and beats the living piss out of him. nWo being Bischoff Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx & Giant. yes...rename Wight & Waltman. A brand new feud kicks off and during it when things are bad for the WWF Sting comes to the aid of the WWF because he hates the nWo. Rock was leaving to do movies so have the nWo eliminate him and the odds are steep.
Saying that I loved Stings debut at SSeries 2014. It excited the hell out of me....pity about the rest of it.

Totally agree with him being the one to slam Luger. Think that Sting would have had the personality and connection with the fans that Luger couldn’t quite achieve.
The only other time I would bring him in would be in place of the Warrior circa 1987. Assuming events transpire the same as it did for Warrior, Sting would have had the best chance of carrying the WWF in to the 90’s. A series of matches with Mr Perfect and Ravishing Rick Rude over the world belt would have been amazing.

Surfer Sting vs. Ministry Undertaker in a casket match. Taker wins, stuffs Sting in a casket. You don't see or hear from Sting in a while. Months later, odd vignettes start playing. Everyone thinks it has to do with the Ministry. Eventually Crow Sting makes his debut & has another feud with Taker.
Or something like that.
