He says he did it because he was sleeping on the job holding up production at a worldwide taping. But my question is. Why was Jesse even there? I thought they did the commentary later on closer to the airdate & used a green screen for the background? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Wouldve been interesting to hear Jesse call the Dungeon of Doom stuff a year later. You know he wouldve had a field day with it

I feel once Bobby Heenan came into the WCW in January 1994 it was the start of phasing out Jesse Ventura.
I remember Bobby called the Clash of the Champions, he would call a majority of the PPVs with Jesse coming in to do one or two matches at those events, until finally he was removed all together because I am sure at the Clash of the Champions in June before the Bash at the Beach PPV, that Bobby Heenan called the entire event.
I loved Jesse Ventura's commentary for WCW in 1992 and 1993.
