Two of the biggest & best names in the business... who you going with?
It's another hard one but for me it's Sting. I just love the guys work & he's one of my all time favs til today. I got love for Savage as well, he's also one of my GOATS but Sting was always just something else man.
Both guys had amazing careers in the 80s/90s. Savage was the man in the 80s & 90s while Sting became a real legend in the 90s, he was also good in the 80s aswell.
I also loved Stings work in the 2000s,2010s & even 2020s... its crazy how he's been going strong in 4/5 different decades ffs.

Sting & if I'm being honest it's not even close.I like Savage & enjoy his work but he doesn't crack my top 15..maybe not even top 20.
Stings a top 10 guy for me.

Honestly I don’t even understand how that neon cowboy hat wearing clown could be mentioned in the same breath as the GOAT known as Sting. As the Mod of this board I must say I am embarrassed for everyone here that this was even a thread. All I can say is do better going forward.   |

I love Stinger but Macho is one of the founding fathers of wrestling for me. (Hulk, Warrior, Savage). I can never put anybody above them.
Macho Man was such a character and to this day, whenever I see him on my screen he makes me laugh.
Sting vs the nWo is my favorite angle ever though.

I like Sting, but I am clearly in the minority here as I will say Randy Savage and for me it is not even close!
Sting is awesome, but Randy Savage is one of my all time favorites in terms of his matches and the characters that he portrayed over the years. When I first thought of this, I thought that maybe Sting was better in the ring, but truth be told, I was actually way more entertained by more Randy Savage matches than I was Sting!
Not to put the Stinger down, he is an all timer for sure, but in going head to head with Randy Savage, I have to pick Randy Savage.

Savage seemed abit similar to Hogan in my opinion. Especially nWo Savage. nWo Bandana, sunglasses, weight belt. Unique raspy way of speaking. Black attire with lightning. Receiding hairstyle. He was Hollywood Light-ning.
