It was funny when he would get his ass whooped by Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, etc as Million Dollar Man's "bodyguard" but I also enjoyed his babyface run in 1991 and was upset he ended up being a JTTS. You could say he was the originator of the "Virgil Pop" where the crowd reaction for a lackey turning babyface and rising up against his boss makes it seem like he is over but they just really hate the bad guy more. Alex Riley/Miz and Wardlow/MJF are other examples. This song is dedicated to all the jobbers and hustlers with no autograph line. RIP.

I think Virgil made a mistake switching from the boxing style shorts to the terrible pinstripe pants that he wore. He looked like a badass fighter in those shorts and the pinstripe pants made him kind of look like a jobber. Also, the Virgil Hasbro was one of my favorites as a kid. I loved the pose and the whole design of the figure made him look like a real top guy. He was a big star in my fed as a kid and I loved playing with him. I just wish they could have gotten the figure out sooner, if they had somehow got this out in 1991, it would probably have been even more of a favorite of mine. Now tell me, HOW DO YOU SPELL MAN? ?

I'm glad someone mentioned it. His Hasbro figure was also one of my favorite Hasbro's as well. Still wish we would have gotten the first HBK figure in that pose. My DiBiase figure got beat up a lot by this guy. And I agree with you about the tights. I always like the boxer tights look better, it fit the character they were trying to portray of him. Never cared for the candy striper tights.

I didn’t like the red and white striped tights but liked the black and white ones he wore later though.

DiBiase quote on his passing...
''I took a few days to process everything but I didn’t want to let too much time pass before I paid my respects to Mike “Virgil” Jones. The Million Dollar Man character was enhanced and improved thanks to Mike and his hard work and I will forever be thankful. More importantly, I will always be thankful for his friendship. God bless you and may you rest in peace, my friend.''
100% agree Virgil enhanced the character.Such a fun run they had together. RIP Virg

And for his final great work, it turns out that he lied about his age for YEARS. R.I.P. Mike Jones, finding out the above gave me a huge laugh today. Always working!
