What happened there?
One week it’s returning to the WwF next week Jimmy Superfly Snuka
Next week he re debuts in a squash match
Next week he is in the IC title battle Royal and then he is gone.
Anyone ever heard what happened here?

Jimmy Snuka was wrestling for ECW at this time, I remember he had just lost the ECW TV Title to Terry Funk at the NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling Bloodfest TV taping.
My guess is that Snuka being in the battle for the IC Title helped make that battle royal a little more exciting since he was a big name in the WWF at one time. I am sure Vince didn't have any long term plans, as Snuka was still being used heavily as a heel in ECW at the time.

Yeah his brief return to WWF was a favor to Vince basically
I really liked his ECW run during this time as part of ''Hotstuff International'' Him as the vicious heel was a nice throwback

Snuka kind of felt out of place when he returned in 1989 so when he again resurfaced in 1993 it was like a relic from a bygone era.
