They had a lot of trouble over the BOGO deals with not declaring that tax had already been paid so it could be something to do with that.
Hopefully they’re fixing the whole system because they’ve been overcharging us for ages.

I’m in Canada. I actually sent a message to Mattel creations this morning inquiring about this. They’re usually pretty good at responding fairly quickly, so I’m curious what they will say. Hopefully it gets fixed before the Hart Foundation goes up for sale.

The 1st 2 series of Coliseum Collection went up on Shopzone Europe but that doesn't seem to be the case with series 3...pity.

It’s extremely frustrating to say the least. I’ve emailed Mattel and was advised they are working on a resolution. I’ll be PO’ed if we miss the release of the Hart Foundation, not to mention the big Mattel Creations reveals coming later in the month. If there is a “made order” and we miss it, it will be a real shame… it’s pretty tough being a collector outside the U.S at the best of times, this stuff just adds to it.
Hopefully Mattel can sort it sooner than later - my guess is the Hot Wheels collectors (crazy nut jobs they are - my bother is one) are emailing and calling daily! So hopefully Mattel is urgently sorting it.

Has there been any communication about what the problem actually is? Is it technical? Is to do with their shipping partners? Is it a tax or currency issue?
This is where lack of communication hurts customer relations - leaving it open to speculation helps nobody.
It also builds frustration, which helps nobody.

It's a good sign, at least we are talking about a temporary problem.

They had this issue on Mattel Creations when Rokkon from MOTU Origins came out and gave International customers their own day to order a few days later. I'm not sure why this is still going on.

Seems like a big push on Mattel Creations Revealed in 15 days and yet we cannot order anything outside the US
Hopefully they get it sorted before then
Have the CC and Nitro ring going up too. And haven't been able to order the Retro ring which I'd like

Still no update, no word from Mattel or any rep from Mattel. Hot wheels, MOTU and WWE collectors from all over the world going nuts. This is really sad state of affairs, yet another kick in guts for us WWE international collectors with the Hart Foundation release days away.
Mattel leaving money on the table cause if I have to buy from eBay, the over pay will be money I don’t have in the future for more Mattel’s.

I'm not sure why this is still going on. that is not completely right. Mattel pushed back the order date to a few days for everyone, not just international buyers. Rokkon could then only be ordered from USA and countries for which Mattel already withholds customs fees (Germany, France, Italy, UK...). Most countries therefore could NOT order the figure (Austria, Netherlands...) Rokkon sold out in one and a half hour btw. Next week Snout Spout goes online so it will be interessting if they do the same and allow some countries to order. |
