I had put off picking up Toxic Attraction and Xia Li because Basics had upgraded the articulation, I didn’t see any reason to buy an outdated style figure, but after looking at photos of Tiffany Stratton, it looks like the articulation for female basics is the same? Can anyone who has both confirm this? Thank you.

They’ve added changeable hands tho.

Women's basics, until this year, always had better articulation then the men, so much so that for a very long time, women's basics were actually Elites with less detail.
This new articulation change doesn't affect the women at all. It's only for the men. Personally, I'd love to see them return the women's basics to before when they had the elite articulation but yeah, that's not happening. If nothing else, they could give us some actual detail on the figures. Every once in awhile you get a good one like Xia Li or B-Fab but most of the women's basics are the same exact body with a coat of paint put over them. It's nice to get the FTIL women out there but geez, if you don't want us to call them basics anymore they need to not be basic.

The character Tiffany Stratton would be offended by how basic her basic is.
