Are these somewhat dead now?
Obviously they’re still going but down to 6 a year, not even a thread about them on the first page here when there used to be a spoiler / review where each crate was speculated on, reviewed, discussed inquire some detail.
People on here are the key market I’d think for them. I know brawlers still get discussed but not the crates themselves.
I think it’s a shame as if there’s wrestlers I like (such as the golden era ones they’ve done) they’re great value - even just for the shirts if nothing else

The subscription numbers are almost certainly way down. The quality and creativity just seemed non existent compared to when I first subbed. Years ago the tshirt designs were cool or quirky (I love my GI Joe Sarge shirt). By the time I dropped it, it was clear that the crate shirts were an afterthought with low effort designs.
I still buy the Brawlers and autographs that I'm interested in. But I haven't seen a single shirt since I dropped my sub that I wanted.

I still like them for the most part, but for me it always has been and always will be about the Brawlers and the shirts. I was not crazy about the Brawlers in first bi-monthly crate tbh.. I did like both shirts a lot, but I also think that’s relative. I WFH so I’m pretty much in tee shirts every day, plus work out in them so I always have a use for them.
I think in general the existence of AEW (and in turn AEW having their own crate) combined with the explosion of other toy companies hurt the appeal of them to some buyers.

I've never had it but sometimes I will buy items from it on secondary. I bought the new El Generico shirt on secondary. It's pretty crappy quality but at my size I can't afford to be picky. And I proudly wear the "Just Watch Wrestling" pin on my jean jacket.
Actually, I've had a couple people ask where that pin comes from. I bought it off a friend but if people ask, I direct them to the bay.
