That Farrooq, the one shown in the coat, is a must. If I can score that, the new Nation Rock, ana grab a Kama and D'Lo, there's actually a chance I can complete the Nation now. The only one I'd need to pay absurd prices for is Mark Henry, which is gonna hurt like hell but one figure at those prices is way better than three.

This whole wave is a must buy for me. I do wish they would stop with the rip in the front Hogan shirts though.

Upon further review… The regular farooq is good, I’ll get that one. The Anvil will be a pass

I like the whole set. Would've preferred another WCW World Champion Ron Simmons or a doom version. I'll probably buy more than one Anvil, I think the body of it will be good for some customs.

I do love that the legends lines have been giving us more obscure and deepcut gimmicks (Some were really unexpected to me). They've done Mean Mark, Miss Hancock, Headshrinkers, WCW AJ Styles, Paul E., Big Bubba Rogers, Ichiban Hogan, Sultan, WHO, etc. I really love that. It gives me hope for more deep cuts.

The Neidhardt looks ATROCIOUS in the High Energy soft goods.
I get they want to make it a dual figure, but I really think this is a flop.

Alright, if they can make a special torso for Ultimate Dusty's birthmark bump, they can budget out a new Kurt singlet and molded shorts. I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but it's always so funny to me to see all these hyper specific parts that are made for one person, but the highly toyetic KURT ANGLE gets hosed time and time again with his shredded, juiced-out figures. Is this figure bad? No, of course not. But it's a B+ instead of the A+ I know Mattel is capable of.

I’ll definitely get Farooq. I don’t really understand what the difference is for the chase. The Anvil is a probably not..but I’ll have to see some in hand before I can completely rule it out. The chase is his post-NOD attire.

Hey, welcome back! I'm really excited about the lighter skintone Faarooq figures. The fact that they did his '98 post-Nation gear as a variant is so awesome. I just learned recently that he had yet another attire around this time with a different pattern (Shotgun Saturday Night), but I'm glad they went with this one. Hulk's cool, love that later period bandana & shirt, but I'm a bit Hulk'd out at the moment. I would've swapped this one with the Hogan 3-pack one, personally. But it's nice to get a more standard Hulk in red/yellow trunks/pads for Legends. I believe that's his '92 era? Jim Neidhart in New Foundation gear is definitely a surprise! Hopefully the soft goods get a little less baggy by release. Hey, we can put this on our AEW Owen Hart figures to at least get something WWF related for him. Here's hoping the next Anvil is a proper '97 Hart Foundation one with the black attire. Kurt Angle, back as an Elite at last. It was rumored to be in the brief Best of the Attitude Era line but they canceled it and lost Kurt's rights for awhile. That figure was online for awhile, and if this is exactly the same, it has the dreaded jacked-to-the-gills Ryback singlet under the shirt. At least it looks pretty good with the shirt on. Owen didn’t wear those colours though. His gear was purple and green.

I feel like Hogan should have smaller arms. He’d slimmed down by WM 8.

That Hogan is about to be called out by Roman on live TV. He looks like he's been hanging out with RVD. What the hell.

all the cloth goods in this set is crazy. anyone else remember the time when cloth goods were extremely rare and all the shirts were those huge plastic shells? lol

Big and ill fitting soft goods ruin figures. I don't want Barbie dolls and soft goods sometimes give me that vibe. I think the only figs that look good are when the soft goods are the right proportions and fit well.

I'm glad that Mattel has correct the skintone for this NOD release of Farooq. I will definitely be picking him up since the previous release was bad with the darker skintone.

The only issue moving forward is you won't be able to complete it without Owen Hart which I still can't see WWE or Mattel ever getting the rights to make him.
