This is in the running for my favorite Legends wave.
92 Hogan has been a top want for me. The Angle is the cancelled Amazon Attitude Era figure, so I'm thrilled to see that finally get a release. Faarooq gets corrected, the leather coat is a great addition, and the post NOD look has always been one of my favorite "blink and you missed it" attires. And I actually really like the Neidhart and think the soft goods work in this instance. Who is a fun deep cut for New Gen roster builders.
I'm genuinely impressed this deep into Legends v2 that they're still cranking out interesting lineups that seem to do well at retail.

The Neidhardt looks ATROCIOUS in the High Energy soft goods. I get they want to make it a dual figure, but I really think this is a flop. I agree. Looks like a bad custom. Big and ill fitting soft goods ruin figures. I don't want Barbie dolls and soft goods sometimes give me that vibe. I think the only figs that look good are when the soft goods are the right proportions and fit well. Yeah, I'm kind of torn on the pants being soft goods. The pants Jim and Owen, and later Koko, wore weren't cloth that I recall, they were shinier. Would have been nice to see a new pant mold, though, with them not having either Koko or Owen, I guess they didn't want to spend the money on the tooling. Shame, I think the molded look would have been better, but I am glad they are releasing the figure, and the colors really pop.

farooq figures look ace, especially the post NOD singlet, stoked to be getting that look in legends line
im pretty hype for the kurt figure; i had a ttl kurt in those (shorts; he had softgoods pants that went over his gear) and i remember just playing with that figure endlessly i fantasybooked the crap out of my kurt figure. i remember my family took a road trip somewhere and i brought that kurt figure and another along for a ride and it was like an hour and a half iron man match in the back seat of the car--so fun!
im honestly a little put off on the Hulk figure š« i get that mattel are trying to slam out these hulk figures before something else goofy happens with him or his deal but--to someone who isnt a hulkamaniac and isnt craving these specific era looks of hulk it doesnt really offer anything new or exciting.
the neidhart is really meh for me personally. i missed his career as a whole and especially his early look and run was before my time so im very indifferent to this figure however i have zaero neidhart figures at the moment and have never owned a neidhart SO it will be somewhat exciting to welcome him into the collection finally š¤·āāļø

I get that people want Hogan figures, I do. But I have seen more and more people on here and elsewhere talk about being burned out on him. He may be a massive want for many people, and he may sell overall, but I fear they are poisoning the well so to speak but putting the main collecters base off of him. That said, it very much looks like Punk will be getting the Hogan treatment as well, and for the same reason, so we'll see how many figures they end up putting out of him in the next 3 years (or until he gets fired for whatever reason.)

I wonder if they flag talent as high risk sometimes and plan figures accordingly lol.

Yeah, even Iām Hulked Out at this point. And Hogan is what my whole collection is all about. The Target Legends 24 is ok, but apart from the shirt and bandana, itās just another mostly yellow w/red knee pads Hogan. Oh, and the face is different, too. So thatās a bit of variation The shirt, howeverā¦ If ever there was a shirt that should have Velcro in the back, thatās the one. Look at how disfigured the flag is with those two lines of stitching running down and through it. Blech. I bought a few different types of accessories for my Hulk display/collection. Iāll post pics once I get the final two in. I essentially split my display in half. Half of it is now down cellar in my workout room, AKA The House of Pain. I look forward to posting pics to see what you madcaps think of it.

The design of Neidhart's Who mask reminds me very much of El Canek's mask. I guess that's cool for anyone into customizing oldschool luchadors.

This series is gonna be hard to find even for target. All 4 of these figures are huge winners.

Honestly you can release a Hogan with 2 heads and 5 or so shirts and you covered a decade or more of Hulkamania.
I just hope other 40 year wrestlers get their flowers too. (They won't)

I am hoping the release of this Hogan leads to some Sids, notable WM 8 Sid. The ref Sid was cool and all, but that was almost 30 series ago and we need a wrestling gear Sid (the gear under the ref outfit doesn't count for us MIBbers).

UE Sycho Sid, black attire with vest, 2 arm sleeves, the winged-eagle belt, and 4 new heads. Turn the basic Sid in blue into an elite in the legends line and make the chase the red attire from SNME when he turned on Hulk. As for the referee gear, I wouldn't mind that, but don't do a 2-in-1. Have the molded tank top and regular suited legs.

This is a really fun wave of figures. Probably grab them all, multiple of Hulk.

Hey, welcome back! I'm really excited about the lighter skintone Faarooq figures. The fact that they did his '98 post-Nation gear as a variant is so awesome. I just learned recently that he had yet another attire around this time with a different pattern (Shotgun Saturday Night), but I'm glad they went with this one. Hulk's cool, love that later period bandana & shirt, but I'm a bit Hulk'd out at the moment. I would've swapped this one with the Hogan 3-pack one, personally. But it's nice to get a more standard Hulk in red/yellow trunks/pads for Legends. I believe that's his '92 era? Jim Neidhart in New Foundation gear is definitely a surprise! Hopefully the soft goods get a little less baggy by release. Hey, we can put this on our AEW Owen Hart figures to at least get something WWF related for him. Here's hoping the next Anvil is a proper '97 Hart Foundation one with the black attire. Kurt Angle, back as an Elite at last. It was rumored to be in the brief Best of the Attitude Era line but they canceled it and lost Kurt's rights for awhile. That figure was online for awhile, and if this is exactly the same, it has the dreaded jacked-to-the-gills Ryback singlet under the shirt. At least it looks pretty good with the shirt on. Owen didnāt wear those colours though. His gear was purple and green. I'm still going to put the gear on Owen, I'm not so anal that I'd rather have no Owen on my WWE shelf than the wrong colors.

And since his attire would be all black and simple, they should be able to do 4 new heads.

So Legends line is mostly just milking all the different characters and looks of the small amount of people they have under contract. How many more hogans and warriors and all that every other series....

That Kurt gear is my fave singlet he ever wore, from my favorite time of his career (his initial rookie year), from my favorite year (2000) so this is a must for me. I just hope he'll have the long kneepads that the ultimate had, that's my only gripe about the figure.

This series is gonna be hard to find even for target. All 4 of these figures are huge winners. I feel like Neidhart will be relatively easy to find unless they shortpack him for some reason. Niche attires that aren't of a wrestler's signature look tend to get overlooked by the casual consumer and Who/New Foundation definitely fits in that category. Kurt is the one that I expect to sell out quicker than the rest of the line much like Andre has been for Series 21, especially since this will be his first Elite figure in a very long time
