I really want to enjoy this line, but having a straight up re-release and a re-paint really sours me. This is an era where they have a TON of guys under contract, lots of gimmicks and looks that haven't been made, and with it's limited run you can get away with some deep cuts without clogging retail. Yeah, I think they are going overboard on the re-releases. You had the UE greatest hits and the elite greatest hits line, now you have a Legends Greatest Hits line, the Vault line for Ringside, and then they're going to put re-releases in other lines, that's too much. If they just had one re-release UE line and one re-release elite line a year, that would be perfect. It wouldn't be overkill. I don't understand why they can't just do re-releases but just change the color slightly or a change a different paint detail, kind of like the Bruno Sammartino re-release Legend in green. It can't cost them any more to make and it does make the re-release like a different figure. They could have made the Terry Funk Legends Re-Release with grey-stripes instead of the red and I would have bought it, but since it was exactly like the one I already have, I didn't buy it again. Natural Disasters had alternate designs for their attires that could have been used. In most cases the wrestlers used more than one color. Maybe instead of doing so many chases they should utilize the alternate colors/paint deco for re-releases. |

I can understand if it's a definitive look of a certain wrestler, or if there was an issue with the previous release: short run like the Harley Race figure issue, detail missing on the figure like the Legends 2 Rick Rude (missing Warrior artwork on back of tights), or like UE Kane that had the paint issue on the arms. Those make sense, but just releasing a figure again that could get a different look makes little sense to me. Like you said about the Natural Disasters, why not just do one of their other singlet designs? This way people who weren't collected at the time of their previous release can get their figures but people who already purchased those figures can get something new. Same with Warlord, why not do one of his other looks: Same look as the previous figure, but the chest protector is different, a giant W. Could include the mask or not.   All black attire: black face mask, black chest protector without the attachments for the belt, and plain black trunks.  |

i gave up on the MNW line... we didnt even get a shipper. and we talkin series 4...lol.. oh well. another line that should have more exposure just rots away at Walmart with limited runs..

They re-released two old Bret basics (RR88 and 1991), Million Dollar Man green tux, Ultimate Warrior orange trunks (SSE88), and it looks like the upcoming Piper and Mankind are re-releases as well. Piper from the previous one he was wearing a shirt (I think it was entrance greats), and the Mankind with the white shirt but I can't remember the series. |

Is it so hard to get some actual wanted names like a 2000 Booker T and Scott Steiner? Still amazed we got an nWo Booker T before a proper 2000/2001 WCW Champ Booker T.
