I was playing WWE 2k24 yesterday when I noticed that the logos on referee shirts vary depending on the show. And I went through the real life shows and confirmed it. Raw referees have a red border around the WWE logos on their shirts and Smackdown referees have a blue border. And NXT referees have an NXT logo instead of WWE.
So that means the upcoming John Cone figure is a Raw referee and Mattel still needs to make a Smackdown and a NXT referee figure. OR ELSE IT WON’T BE EVEN!!!!!!!

i remember when the OG brand split took place the Smackdown refs got blue shirts

Only referees i'm interested in are earl hebner and drake younger so I can make a custom of him (we all know they'll never make him)

I wonder how well an nWo Nick Patrick BAF would go over. Honestly, Nick Patrick as a figure might go really well if they could find some way to make it a 2-in-1. Maybe give him a torso with a sleeveless ref shirt painted on it, throw a regular, WWE shirt on that, and include an NWO shirt in as an accessory. It would actually be a 3-in-1. Or, do a plain torso and just include the cloth goods ref and NWO shirts (and maybe a hat on the side) Could work in the legends line and if you were to go with the way that it suited both WWE and WCW, it might just sell a bunch too, just so people can have a WWE ref. |

Honestly I'm sort of surprised they haven't made a Charles Robinson.
He's about the only one I'd really want (other than Hebner).

Honestly I'm sort of surprised they haven't made a Charles Robinson. He's about the only one I'd really want (other than Hebner). I'm surprised the first current ref to be made is John Cone and not Charles Robinson. The man has been a WWE referee since 2001, and been on TV since 1997. He's also had quite a few memorable moments. |
