I will agree that neither segment made Cody look like the new "guy" this week. They need to do better with that and give him an edge.

I'd say Rhodes promos on RAW/SD were good tbh. He was over as hell. He even held Rocks belt & told em he's looking forward to their face off whenever Rocky returns.
I agree that it could have been better but I'm thinking they are trying to make Rock look like a dominant threat...once Rhodes beats Rocky, it'll make him an even bigger star.

I'm not really a fan of using Rock for three Wrestlemanias in a row. A part of what made his recent return special was that we hadn't seen him in eight years since Wrestlemania 32, but I get capitalising on his new gimmick.
Rock and Roman never really interested me. A family based story similar to the Roman and Jey feud is there but since both are part timers, no one really benefits from the win.
Cody and Rock is the one I want to see. Its a believable face vs authority story that has so much potential.

Looking like Rock just teased himself for WM41 in that recent video he did. Rock vs Rhodes is gonna be big money.
