I know we should take this with a grain of salt, but what do we think if this really is the plan? The long term build would definitely make this the biggest match of all time. As long as everyone can stay healthy for that long.

A whole year of Cody as champ?

A whole year of Cody as champ? That’s not to say he doesn’t lose the belt and regain it before then. Hell rumor is the Rock may wrestle this year. Who’s to say he won’t win the belt from Cody and Cody wins it back next year?

Wow! Two whole years to finish off the Roman/Rock storyline. Seems like a long time to do that.

A whole year of Cody as champ? Y'all know I love Cody, but this made me burst out laughing.

I am not buying it.He'll be 53 by that point and I don't see his schedule getting lighter and as each year passes he's more likely to get hurt and be even slower in a match. I don't think he wants to continue to do these ten week training plans for a one off match just to do them again down the road.
I still suspect he'll face Rhodes at some point this year at SummerSlam or after and then Reigns at WM 41 and call it a career.
Right now his schedule is light as he's filming that MMA movie and has the Hobbs movie and live action Moana films lined up.The last two might not even film until '25 so he could be back for and extender run in the fall till WM 41.

I’ve heard this entire Rock storyline is a three year deal with him working a match at WM 40, 41 and 42. So this would make sense. I personally would love it. And I agree with Rocky Balboa, the more Final Boss the better.

I’m not buying anything dirtsheets say anymore.
Cody/Rock SummerSlam, Cody/Rock WrestleMania, Cody/Rock on WWE Speed before the RAW tapings next week.
If it happens, yay. If it doesn’t happen, yay.

Wow! Two whole years to finish off the Roman/Rock storyline. Seems like a long time to do that. Also a long time for Cody Rhodes to be shuffled off to the side when WWE's big money match has nothing to do with him and everything to do with the Bloodline.

Dwayne is a leech, simple as that. He loves to latch onto anything with attention and just suck it dry. He was jealous of the fans wanted Rhodes over him, so now he wants to insert himself into the main event against Cody because he knows that's now the most attention he can get. It's honestly so pathetic.

Wonder if that means The Rock wins the 2025 Royal Rumble.

This is actually unreal. The fact that we will get two BIG dream matches back to back...wow.
The New Era is booming already. Keep em coming.

I would prefer Rock Vs Cody, but Cody looked like a little bitch this week on RAW and Smack down.
When Rock asked to hold his belt I thought he was going to say only way he could hold the belt was if he beat him for it. That would have made Cody look badass. Instead he just stood there and did absolutely nothing. He looked intimidated. Then on Smackdown when he wasn't face to face with The Rock he was all of a sudden brave and would be here whenever The Rock was ready.
For me, he's done with Roman and needs to move onto The Rock, but those segments this week made him look so weak.

Damn, took less time than even I saw coming.
