What is everyone using to remove wrist tape and tattoos from AEW figures? Does nail polish work? or rubbing alcohol?

Acetone will do the trick. Dip a cotton swab in it and rub it over the paint. Use it gingerly because too much will melt the plastic.

Some.of the newer tattoos are TrueFX and can't be removed. Some of Nash Carter's and Bàlor's hand tattoo come to mind.
