Raw preview, Apr. 15, 2024: Sami Zayn returns to Montreal to defend the IC Title against Chad Gable
With tonight’s Raw in Montreal, new Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will defend his title against the man who helped him defeat Gunther at WrestleMania XL, Chad Gable.
Gable and Zayn teamed up to defeat Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser on the Raw after WrestleMania as Gable mentioned he would need a favor from Zayn since Zayn won the title Gable had desperately fought for last year.
The two clashed in the Gauntlet Match to determine The Ring General’s opponent at WrestleMania XL a few weeks ago, with Zayn coming out on top in an immense battle.
Can Zayn make his homecoming a successful one or will Gable cut Zayn’s reign as Intercontinental Champion short?

Rhea Ripley to address Liv Morgan's surprise attack
Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley will address the brutal backstage attack levied by Liv Morgan on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw.
Morgan laid out Mami in brutal fashion, leaving her down in a crumpled heap and forcing the champion to have to address the situation.
The history between Ripley and Morgan goes back years to when they were tag team partners turned enemies, and now they'll add a new chapter on Monday Night Raw at 8/7 C on USA!

Tonight, The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio will look to enact some payback on Andrade.
Andrade looked set to join The Judgment Day, but on the SmackDown before WrestleMania, Andrade spurned Mysterio, choosing instead to join Rey Mysterio and The LWO.
At WrestleMania XL, Andrade teamed with The Master of the 619 to defeat “Dirty” Dom and Santos Escobar, fully cementing where he stood.
With Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley telling Mysterio to make things right, Mysterio will try to gain some retribution on Andrade.

Tonight, Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile will once again take on Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
After LeRae admonished Dupri in the teams’ first match against each other, LeRae and Hartwell walked out the victors. Hartwell, however, was not happy with The Poison Pixie’s outburst.
In the second match, Dupri and Nile defeated LeRae and Hartwell.
With The Poison Pixie’s aggressive new attitude, she and Hartwell will battle Dupri and Nile in the third match.
