Raw preview, Apr. 29, 2024: The 2024 WWE Draft continues tonight on Raw
The 2024 WWE Draft continues tonight on Raw and and the landscape of the squared circle will never be the same. Night 2 will feature six rounds of draft picks being announced. Each round will consist of both Raw and SmackDown making two picks apiece for a total of 24 picks. Raw will have the first pick.
What surprises await? Which Superstar will be selected first by Raw and SmackDown? With NXT eligible, which competitors will be joining the main roster?
RULES OF THE DRAFT
1) Champions on each brand will be protected and are not eligible to be drafted. As a result, Damian Priest, Becky Lynch, Awesome Truth and Sami Zayn will remain on Raw. Cody Rhodes, Bayley, A-Town Down Under and Logan Paul will remain on SmackDown.
2) Even though their status as champions allows them to go to both brands, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane are eligible to be drafted. They will be assigned to that brand if they lose the titles.
3) Friday’s SmackDown will feature four rounds of draft picks being announced. Each round will consist of the brands making two picks apiece for a total of 16 picks being announced (8 for SmackDown and 8 for Raw).
4) Monday’s Raw will feature six rounds of draft picks being announced. Each round will consist of the brands making two picks apiece for a total of 24 picks (12 for Raw and 12 for SmackDown).
5) SmackDown will have the first pick on Friday, and Raw will have first pick on Monday.
6) Rosters will go into effect on Monday, May 6, two days after Backlash France.

Reigning United States Champion Logan Paul will pay a visit to Monday Night Raw amid all of the drama and intrigue surrounding the 2024 WWE Draft.

Jey Uso teams with Ricochet and Andrade to take on The Judgment Day
As the 2024 WWE Draft Night Two takes over Raw, The Judgment Day will also try to take over when they face Jey Uso, Ricochet and Andrade in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
“Main Event” Jey Uso is set to collide with Damian Priest for The Archer of Infamy’s World Heavyweight Title at Backlash France and will surely see this as a test less than a week before their huge matchup.
The previous week on Raw, Ricochet and Andrade gained the win over JD McDonagh and Santos Escobar, who subbed in for an injured “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. This loss angered the World Heavyweight Champion and now he, Finn Bálor and McDonagh will try to get back on track with a victory on their minds over Uso, Ricochet and Andrade.
