For a few years, NXT was my go to wrestling show, it was exciting each week and for me the best wrestling was when we had The Undisputed Era, Alisteri Black, Gargano vs Champa..... Velvetine Dream before we knew he was a creep!
When they did that NXT 2.0 thing, it lost me. I have no idea what they were trying to do there and while some weeks it was ok, it felt like they were just trying to throw crap against the wall to see what stuck.
The last few weeks I have gotten back into it, but Ava has to be the worst GM in wrestling.... possibly ever. Look, I love The Rock and when I heard that his daughter had singed with the WWE I thought it was awesome and had high hopes for her, I still do! However, I just do not see how any one involved with the WWE production thinks that what she is doing is good. She is so awkward and everything she says feels like she is trying super hard to recall it from a script or something.
Hey, she could come good and be awesome, but right now, any scene she is in is really off putting to me. To be honest, if she were not The Rock's daughter, I would probably be way harsher on her. Perhaps I am missing something though and she is better than I am giving her credit for.
What are your thoughts on Ava?

She's a better GM than she was a wrestler, so that's a positive. She's not good, but hopefully she can get better. I have no problem with then giving her a chance to improve. I would start with what she wears. If she doesn't want to go full GM/Management attire like Pearce and Aldis do, that's fine, but there has to be something better than the garbage that she wears.

She’s not that bad but it doesn’t seem like she’s training to wrestle anymore , or if she is she must not be improving. On the mic she’s solid but has a condition beyond her control with the buck teeth and lisp , I feel that’s the only reason she comes off awkward. Her delivery is solid but she can’t help how her voice sounds naturally.

She talks weird. It's like her teeth and gums are too big for her mouth.
If she wasn't the Rock's daughter she would have been let go. She's not charismatic, or good at what she does. She's very basic.
With that being said, she is still making more money and is worth more money than I ever will be, so oh well!

The shoes people expected her to fill are bigger than most US states. Is she the most charismatic person ever? No, but in her role, she doesn't have to be.

poor girl, I have flashbacks of Shaul Guerrero...
I wish they let her make her mark out in the world first, get a degree or pay some dues first...
basically I feel she does not deserve such a role.
