Steven Borden is officially training with Darby Allin to follow in his Father's footsteps and become a professional wrestler following his successful appearance in Stings retirement match.
What are your thoughts on a potential ring name for Steven?
Sting Jr?
Scorpion?
Blade Runner?
Should he steer away from his Dad's legacy and create his own?

That is really cool and after all the years of entertainment Sting has given me I am really rooting for the guy. I am sure because of who his dad is most fans will be more than willing to give him a chance.
I think that he should try and forge his own path, honor his dads legacy for sure, but he should not try and be Sting 2.0.

seemed laughable on the face until I read he was a DI football player. Here's hoping he crushes it 6’3 around 240 lbs.. he’s definitely got size. And I think he turns 31 this year. Not a youngster but he’s got time if he really wants to make a run at this. Hope he’s successful. |

This is one of the few situations where I think having him take his father's gimmick would be the best. Without it he would get completely lost in the shuffle and he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who has enough passion to make something of his own. The Sting gimmick is relatively easy for a green wrestler all things considered.

His age shouldn't be a negative if he doesn't plan on staying around for 30 years in the business. If he can make it 10 years in AEW then that's good enough for him to make some serious coin and have a career.

Which one was he? GAB Sting or Wolfpac Sting? Also with all the crazy crap he does I wouldn’t want Darby training him. As for his name he should go with either “Stinger” like his father wanted his name to be when he started out or just go with Steve Bordon Jr.

It's fine. DDP was 906 years old and rookie of the year all at once.
Us he should just be sting. Consider how many tiger masks there have been. It's fine.
