With it being near the end of May, I thought it would be fun to talk about the Judgement Day PPV that used to be a thing. Judgement Day was one of the shows that usually had a really cool set design, often a favorite of mine to use in the yearly WWE games. There were some great matches at this show over the years, but the one I am going to start this thing off with is the Iron Man match at Judgment Day 2000 The Rock vs Triple H. I love this match and it is still my favorite Iron Man match the WWF/E has ever done. Yes it is overbooked to hell, but they managed to make this thing entertaining from start to end and The Undertaker looked so freaking badass when he returned. Plus, The Rock was pretty much taking on the whole of DX which I thought was a lot of fun. I was looking back at the history of this event to jog my memory and some major matches happened at this PPV! When they did the brand split, in my opinion it was this and the Great American Bash that were the premier Smackdown PPVs. Also, we got to crazy blood baths in back to back years from Cena and Eddie! What are your thoughts/memories of Judgement Day... the PPV, not the current stable although I could happily look at images of Rhea Ripley all day

The Iron Man match was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. An excellent match.

I do remember that!
Was Boss Man still wearing the ski mask then?? I can't remember if he had been acknowledged yet as the Big Boss Man yet or if he was still covering his face

when he attacked Austin on Raw prior to this he unmasked right away But yeah he was still wearing it here. Believe the next night on Raw was last time he wore it as Vince told to em to fetch something and he was in full gear IIRC. Ski mask was short lived but a cool look for em.Added to the riot gimmick he had here

Big Boss Man was the original Shield member technically with how he was dressed! Him and Bull Buchanan should be honorary members of that group! Ha ha ha

How about Kane vs. Undertaker with Austin as the referee?? That Judgment Day PPV was in October though. Is that the one where Austin starts doing the count and gives them both the finger and does something like declare himself the winner or have I just imagined all of that? That was hillarious

That it is!! It was the match that set up the Survivor Series tournament for the WWF Title.

Lesnar/Big Show from 2003 is a fun match with a cool ending. Nash/HHH isn’t anything to write home about but the power bomb through the announce table was brutal.

Judgment Day 1998 - love the show. The local video store sold the previous years tapes for cheap so that's one of the tapes that I watched alot of as a kid
Judgment Day 2000 - I'll never forget this show. I was almost 10 and we got the PPV at our house. My older brother used to have watch parties at different friends houses and sometimes I got to go when they weren't at our house. Taker's return was the highlight of the night for us and it's something I usually watch back once a year or so
Judgment Day 2002 - Taker beating Hogan for the title ruled. Match sucked tho. Show was in Nashville and I wish I had been able to go somehow.
Judgment Day 2003 - near 13 year old me was a big fan of Torrie vs Sable
